"The overall styling is what drew me to this car. I test-drove a lot of cars and I kept coming back to the CX-7. After months of research and numerous test drives, I needed to be done. I gave the design a 5 star. The value for my money a high 4 star. Comfort a three. I like the seats but the smoothness of the ride is great on a smooth surface. On bumpy road, it's a very bump ride. The only thing that I'm somewhat disappointed in. I like the MPG as I got he FWD version. Overall, I love my car. I wanted something bigger than a sedan but didn't want a big, clunky SUV that got bad gas mileage and had more room than needed. For me this is a near perfect and chose this over the more expensive Murano and Edge."

"I have a 2008 CX-7 Grand Touring Turbo..I travel between Portland and Seattle for business on a regular basis...50,000 miles already on it....and I LOVE it!!! I really tried to buy a different car...I test drove all the possible competitors from Honda, Toyota, Volvo, Volkswagon to Hyundai, Kia and Mercury....but as soon as I stumbled across the CX-7 it stood out in quality, design and cost....in my opinion it offers a much better value for the money than anything else available. Only down side is the gas mileage is not as high as I was hoping to find."

"Unfortunately we had to get a car immediately after our Jeep was totaled in a headon collision! We looked at the Nissen Murano and Rogue. We liked the Murano but the price was out of reach. As for the Rogue smaller and not the look we wanted. We decided to go where my parents buy their Fords. This is also a Mazda dealership. Immediately we fell in love with the 2010 Mazda CX-7. We give this car a five star rating all around. Ours is Brillant black with black leather interior. It is totally loaded only lacking a moonroof. This is an awesome crossover with a car feel, good mileage, sleek design, and AWD! If you are looking for a new car or an alternative to an SUV this crossover is the one!"

"My wife and I went out and searched the usual crossovers. Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Chevy, and GMC were all good cars, but when we slipped behind the wheel of the Mazda CX-7 we were sold! This car beats the others hands down in quality, performance, and style. The biggest part that sold us on it, however, was the technology. Navigation, back-up camera, Bluetooth for hands-free calling... even the Bose stereo sounded better than all the competition. We are not "hard-core" off-roaders so the sleek metro styling and clean design made it a great choice over some other "poser" crossovers. I am very impressed with this car."

"I wasn't expecting much after owning a car for twice the money, but I was pleasantly surprised. In some areas it turned out better than my previous more expensive suv."

"Looks nice, handles well, engine is peppy, feels more like a large station wagon than a crossover. The interior is cheap clothe which tears easily and if you have pets, good luck trying to get the fur out. the front seats are unusually low in comparison to the window, if you are used to leaning your arm on the edge of the door forget it. The arm rests have a leather pad which is comfortable enough. Overall, I would have preferred the 2010 Ford Escape or Edge as the prices were comparable by the time the extras were added to make the car drivable."

Best Car I've Owned

"This is so far has been the most fun and valuable I have owned so far. This has been my first Mazda and I am more then happy with my purchase and I hope to try out more of their models in the future. The car's seats are comfortable and roomy enough for any adult. The rear seat though is a little tight though, but I don't have to sit back there so it doesn't affect me! The trunk space is also very large for such a small SUV, I can fit my 90 pound lab in the back. The performance is also very good for a small SUV. I love to take on corners going very fast because of the high cornering limit. Mazda sure has done a well job designing this car, my entire family just loves how it looks and we even take my car more instead of my wife's minivan. The only problem with the entire car is that there weren't as much options or features as other car brands like Subaru or Volkswagen. Overall, this car is the best car I have ever come across and will probably buy another sometime in the future."

"We bought our 2010 Mazda CX-7 Grand Touring in November of 2009. The best day of our life. The BMS( Blind Spot Monitering)*Sorry for spelling* Navigation, Bose 9 Speaker Sound Sysem is the most AMAZING thing I've ever heard. This car out performs my wifes Mercedes E350 4MATIC. This car is ridiculous! The build quality is great, the huge 19" wheels and the chrome accents along with high gloss paint makes this car look more like a $50,000 car. Most people don't even know about this car or haven't seen it. My kids love me to drive them to school in my car due to its curb appeal. Whats sad, is that they don't want to even ride in my wife's Mercedes. Being a Cardiatric Surgeon, everyone in my field has all these crazy expensive cars and I have my crazy cheap, but sexy SUV. Im proud to be an owner of Zoom-Zoom quality."

Best Unknown Crossover

"I have 900 miles on my new Mazda Cx-7 sport i and I have reached the conclusion that it has to be the best crossover in its price range for people who enjoy driving. It has decent power, amazing handling(esp. for a crossover, it handles like a car through corners!) and all kinds of features standard like bluetooth phone connectivity, aux input well thought out and well executed in cabin placement, leather trims where people come into contact with the car(door panels, steering wheel, shift knob, etc.) and exterior styling that will always make you look back at the parking lot when you leave it. I am addicted to driving this car and to me it is simply the best. Storage wise it has more than enough to suit most people's needs, it has comfortable seats, great interior design overall with a lockable center console that is simply huge and configurable with various trays. Simply put, mazda thought about all the little details and pulled off a great car. And best of all, most people dont know about it, so your guaranteed not to find many around and its always a great conversation starter when you arrive somewhere. i cant repeat enough how much fun and how easy this car is to drive. After driving this car most of its competition seems lacking to me, the quality is just superior to most in its class. The only negatives I could possibly point out would be 1. some competitors offer slightly better mpg's, but the cx-7 is definitely not a gas gussler, it has great mileage compared to previous suvs ive owned. 2. some might find the ride a little rough because of how sporty it is. I love it, but this is very subjective, some people prefer driving on a cloud in which case this is not the car for you. and 3. power wise the base four is adequate and lots of fun, but i dont recommend for people who need a lot of power for say towing a boat or something, but if thats the case opt for the turbo engine, still i have the base and i love it, more than enough for average people. Overall the best way to sum up the Mazda CX-7 is that in spirit it is the affordable version of a BMW X6: enough usability for most, controversial love or hate styling, and an amazing driving experience. Best car ive ever owned for the price (i have a bmw, but this mazda simply charms me in inexplicable ways where the bmw is left looking more and more as a machine and the mazda is the car i want to drive every time.) If your researching a crossover or small to midsize suvs be sure to give this mazda a test drive at a local dealer, you wont be disappointed! p.s. best looking colors are silver and black, i got mine in silver cause you dont have to clean it as much"
