  • Reliable and fun to drive

Bought the basic SV model used in 2015 with 40k miles, have 71k now. It’s my wife’s car and she loves it. Great looking in pearl white with tan/black interior. Very solid, including interior which isn’t cheap feeling like some current cars. Interior styling looks upscale and exterior is sporty. Very comfortable seats with durable cloth. Engine is plenty peppy unless you have a heavy foot. Fuel economy is a bit better than EPA rating on the highway, close to EPA in the city. Best as a city/suburban car as the ride is a bit bouncy on bad highways, which we have a lot of in MN. Great handling for an SUV. Best attribute is its reliability—no problems to date, just the usual wear items like drive belt and battery. And no rust after 9 MN winters, much better than some Mazdas. Wouldn’t mind having Bluetooth, but can’t beat it for value.

  • Awesome Experience

My parents sold me this car after my first car, a cheap clunker, finally died on me. It was super reliable and gave me almost no trouble at all. The driver's window did have a mechanical component start to give out after only 3 or so years (my parents got the car new, I acquired it in 2015), but otherwise I was always very comfortable and happy with the car.

  • Decent car

It's an alright car, the ac unit isn't the best and the gas mileage isn't the best either. But the size of the car is great and has a lot of spacious room for comfort in the car. The exterior also looks beautiful and looks high class. Although I would not recommend this car it is an alright family car

I've been driving a sports car for the past 20 years and needed a good vehicle. This fits the bill. It drives like a car and not a truck, and I'm actually enjoying it.

  • Overall great value

This is a great SUV. Pros: It is very comfortable and convenient. It can be purchased at a very good price It has eye pleasing interior and exterior design Great for everyday use Gas usage is above average too Cons: it doesn't hold its ground very well especially when speeding. Make sure to take the curves at a slow pace.

The Mazda CX 7 is my first new car, I fell in love with it the first time i drove it but to be fair I test drove several other SUVs. I tried the Nissan Rogue, Nissan Murano, and I also tried the Mazda 3 ; however the car was just too small for me. The Nissan Rogue is similar; but it does not offer the manual drive switch and the seats are firmer, which I did not like. The Nissan Murano was very nice and loaded, it's a bit larger and so is the sale price. The CX 7 has sporty handling, its roomy and I love the exterior as much as the interior. I upgraded for the sunroof and heated seats. I enjoy driving and smile every time I see my new CX7.. highly recommend for those on a budget that like all the bells and whistles.

  • Best CUV for the money

I only have this car for 3 weeks , it's a basic 2012 ISV model with 2.5 i4 .It came with alloy wheels , 4 wheels discs , color keyed outside mirrors and aux input for mp3,no blue tooth .Try to compare to the similar 2012 Rav4, this car is way nicer and $2000 cheaper . I also have a SLK320 and this car handle just as well as the Mercedes ,it has less power but in my everyday driving doesn't feels under power at all. I got 26.6 mpg for the first tank and it's the combine traffic jam and highway so I expect much better mpg for just hwy alone. This is the last year for this model in the US so there is a lot of incentives offered ,makes it an unbeatable option for me . I also read unfavorable reviews of this car but it restricted to the 1st year model and mainly with the Turbo engine The new engine should be reliable coming from the Mazda6 (I hope) and it doesn't sounds like the lawn mower I4 from Honda Accord (it sure is reliable). Overall I love this car and can't wait to take it on the road .
