"Fun car to drive, good value for the money off the lot, however after just 3 years, car is rusting in multiple places and Mazda and dealership refuse to owner the Mazda 5 year rust warranty. Just dumped the car for a fully loaded Azera with a 10 yr rust warranty"

"I loved this car, it was the first car I had that I enjoyed to drive. I had to sell it because I had a baby and could not afford it anymore, but I miss it so much!"

"I purchased my Mazda6 (base model) used, with 18,000 miles on it, and I've never had a problem. I'm close to 43,000 now, and it still handles great, and has no problems. The body styling is nice and it has a lot of "get up and go" for a 4 cylinder automatic."

"This is a car I would consider my sporty car. If you are a sporty person and you like to look cool as well, this is the car for you. Very reliable, drives like nothing. Sometimes when I leave the car runing I don't even hear it, i have to get my hears close to the hood just to see if the car is on or my wife had shut it off. Believe it or not, It is on. I have had mine over 1 year now, I have driven it from Long Island to Florida, and to Maryland. Man the speed on the Hwy was unbelievable. I did not get a ticked though. It's better that a corvette. I better stop here before I go myself another one."

"Love the car Only thing I would perfer is to have the heat controls in the steering wheel. Other wise I love it. I have the full package and its a real nice ride. Heated seats are nice for the winter also."

Tall Drivers Beware of Backaches

"The Good: Steering wheel and seat positioning, gas mileage (never under 26 combined, and up to 32 at 60mph, with regular gas), length of vehicle allows you to use it as an SUV. It'll carry long, wide things. Handling is great, feels like a sports car. The Bad: tires become noise half-way into their life, heavy steering because of front-drive. The Ugly 6-speed transmission is a crime, especially with the drag of the A/C. It lurches you forward - absolutely 100% impossible to have a smooth start off the line. No way. Going through first and second gears is a painful experience. Once in 3rd, you go AHH! Lumbar support is horrible, door insulation falling off after one year, outside door trim is black tape that has already deteriorated. Brake rotors will have to be replaced every 15,000 miles. They WILL warp!"

"Just bought a 2005 Mazda 6. Absolutely love it! It's a base model but has power drivers seat with the lumbar support. Beautiful smooth and very quiet ride with a huge trunk and a lot of cabin room. Seats are very comfortable even in the back. Classy styiling both inside and out. Gauages easy to read and the radio is terrific."
