"This car run awesome but the transmission is like glass. But if u take care of it and not do stupid stuff it will will run forever. it is going on 244000 miles! just put a a new transmission in because i hit a curb when it was icy.. Love the car... 1.8L 5 speed fwd"

"had to take it in for repairs at least every three months. things just wouldn't stay fixed. had transmissions problems too, which i heard was common with this car. i didn't buy it but i did get it fixed up real good. the things that were braking where repaired and just rebraking. i had warranties on the repairs but its just too much hassle, and you'll spend more on repairs than the car is worth. 15 years old is perhaps just a little too old. finally gave up on it and got a newer car. if you find yourself with a car like this, just trade it in for what you can and get something modern."
