Mercedes-Benz has introduced a heavily refreshed E-Class for 2014, updating all models over the course of the year. Sedan, coupe, cabriolet (convertible), and wagon are all back for 2014, with standard rear-wheel-drive and Mercedes-Benz' optional 4Matic all-wheel-drive mated to a standard seven-speed automatic transmission.
A new front and rear styling with LED head- and taillamps updates the look while a luxurious interior improves the upscale feel of the E-Class. Five different engines are available, including a four-cylinder diesel, V-6, V-6 hybrid, and two V-8s. Topping the range is a new high-performance E63 AMG 4Matic sedan and wagon with standard all-wheel drive, a first for the North American market. An array of electronic safety and convenience aids are available including lane-keeping assist, collision warning, adaptive cruise control, pedestrian detection with autonomous braking, active parking assist, surround-view camera and more.
