"i bought it two years ago with 47k, now it has 90k. very good car, great enjoyable driving in high way, comfortable and stable even in high speed, i now speed driver, but it type of car that you need to look always at the speed Gage ether wise you may pass 120 mile without notice. within two years and more than 40000 miles, the car needs only normal maintenance, such as engine oil filter, break pads, battery and such on."

"I purchased my 2007 S550 2 months ago. This car is loads of fun to drive. The car exudes class. Very quick off the line. The handling is excellent for a plus 4600 lb vehicle. The seats are extremely supportive and the ride is plush with enough road feel to keep you in contact with the road surface but with no harshness whatsoever. I also own a 2005 Audi A8L which also has a fine balance between luxury and sport. The S550 just feels better on the road. I am extremely pleased with my purchase."

"having just retired, i wanted to pamper myself with a little bit of indulgance on a new ride. i have owned a corvette, transam, mark 4,& impala ss. none has all the qualities i desire. each has it's strength. i want the T/A acceleration, SS ride, Vette g-hold, Mark 4 grace. looked at BMW 750 and MBZ S550. hands down, i liked the s550. the exterior proportions are excellent, with the wheels stretched far apart, leaving shorter overhangs on both ends. the interior is a living room 5 star hotel. the power delivery is seamless. step on the gas, it darts forward with no hesitations. the suspension is superb. hardly leans on fast turns. i like the quietness of the ride altho i kind of miss the deep rumble of my T/A. this car is every car i owned rolled into one plus bettered (bested!). i am an engineer. if i am to design a car, this would be it in every aspect. the exterior contours are so sensously functional. the interior space is so voluminous. even for full size adults. i love the night backlit lighting. like a theater. this car is a wolf in sheep skin! i bought mine CPO at less than half the new price. so far nothing major to complain as i only owned it for about 9 months. it looked brand new inside and outside. the center console cover's leather skin is kind of wrinkled but no big deal to me. i have only one issue: the front seats out board hinge covers are flimsy plastics and do make rubbing noise at every motion on them. the fix was to keep the seat bottoms retracted so as to pinch them tight. another regret: should have bought this car sooner. i think this is my last car."

"my 2007 S550 was the best car, especially for 4-5 people. it rode great. plenty of leg room in the backseat. probably the best riding car built today. i got compliments almost everyday from people at traffic lights nodding or signaling " thumbs up" at the car."
