"I just bought a 2001 SLK320, AMG factory wheels and a sport package with just under 69k. The paint is excellent, and everything is put together just as it should be. This is my 6th Mercedes, and it's every bit of fun, if not more, than the others. My only advice is to shop around a lot. Like any used car, there are some really good ones, and some really bad ones. The price differential, with a little bargaining, is not that much. A great car, and even a better car for the money."

"Voted one of the top 25 most reliable autos sold in the US in the past 25 years. Designed by Bruno Sacco at M.Benz and has evolved into a work of art. I get 28 MPG around town and some repairs are cheaper than my Honda. Great little car, handles very well, solid and wonderful retractable top, great paint job. Console soft-touch paint is coming off, which is the only negative. Engine lasts forever and 0-60 time is 6.7 secs. Fast enough to surprise some Mustangs"

"I HAVE A 2001 SLK320 WITH ONLY 12,000 MILES ON IT. I WISH I COULD DRIVE IT ALL THE TIME BUT WANT TO KEEP MILES LOW. THIS CAR STICKS TO THE ROAD LIKE A MAGNET, A REAL SOLID MERCEDES-BENZ FEEL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CAR TO ANYONE WHO WANTS A BIG BOY TOY. LUV IT!"

"This 01 SLK320 is the best car that I've owned. It does everything well and can be used as a daily driver. The car has the OLD MERCEDES SOLID FEEL missing from later designs. When you close the door with the window down it tells the whole story. The car feels solid as a rock at over 100mph and smooth as silk. This is my 10th BENZ and I know the difference. The interior console and dash peeling is the not up to old standards.BUY THE 6CYL.Much better than my last 98 new SLK230."
