"My 96 Merc Grand Marquis is probably the most reliable car I have owned, while it is not infallable. I have discovered that a code reader and being able to change the EGR Valve, Throttle Position Sensor, Mass Airflow Sensor, Oxygen Sensors and Window Regulator gears as well as keep the oil changed is all that's needed. I have over 300,000 miles on it now and it still runs well. Seems to have lost a little pep, but not very much. Amazing car."
"Great car, very comfortable, nice to drive, handles very well. Watch out for the plastic intake manifold on most models. It cracks under stress/age. The replacement has a new metal portion to prevent it from cracking again. $800 bucks to fix. There is a lawsuit and hidden recall. You can do an internet search for more info."
