"This car lacks comfortable seats. The drivers seat is hard and lacks middle back support. To get heated mirrors, you have to get vinyl heated seats. I prefer fabric seats. The two wheel drive version has the same problem as most front wheel drive Fords, which is that the front tires do not wear round, so you end up replacing them before they are worn out. The car could stand to be quieter inside. The Hybrid works well and has given me good mileage and few problems."

"Nice design, better than escape sister. Have 43000 miles and get 32-34 Miles/Gal., 4wd, and reach 30 - 35 miles/h on electric. Some reliability issues; inside mirror fell, air conditioning weak & needs check up, front suspension with noise (blong), some variation of voltage and / or sounds volume. Generally lacks space for storage (small glove box, small doors storage). Computer screen small, GPS cumbersome with CD system but easy to follow with schematic roads, lacks tyre pressure control for top of the range model, choice between either A/C or air inlet direction should not happen through a specific switch A/C. Once addressed, could be a nearly perfect car."
