"This car is all about handling and exterior appearance. The handling is sharp and hard and the run flat tires add to the overall jarring ride and prompting a friend to ask, "was the suspension an option?" While the car is way fun to drive, eventually, the harshness may get to you. After the "honeymoon" period, I began longing for just a bit more refinement. I owned two GTI's before this car and would go back to one just to achieve this balance of handling and comfort. The over abundance of hard plastic surfaces in this vehicle are getting very tired at this point and at this price point, soft touch needs to find its way into the interior design. Creaks and rattles abound after the break in period and largely due to the VERY HARSH ride shaking them loose. Also, be advised, run flat tires cost $300 - $450.00 each!!! to replace and wear out quickly under normal driving conditions. MINI does not recommend rotation as part of routine maintenance and this could cost you BIG TIME depending on your driving habits. Overall, this is a great car with multiple shortcomings including too many hard plastics that start to creak and rattle after break-in and a VERY HARSH RIDE that is EXTREMELY OBTRUSIVE inside the cabin. Run flat tires create severe road noise especially at highway speeds. The car is great on gas and super fast off the line. Not to mention very handsome on the road. I personally believe that the cons outweigh the pros."

"This is a great little sports car. Absolute blast to drive. The Clubman has just enough room to carry all we need. Seems a little small sometimes but I am 6'3 and 350lbs. I still fit and find it acceptable. So far we have had no problems at all, we will wear out the run flat tires soon, but that is kinda our fault. If you want a great fun car this is it. If you need a van to carry lots of stuff and people, maybe not for you."

"We have only had the car for a month but love it. It is a blast to drive. The exterior and interior put a big smile on your face every time. The car just fly's and the handling is so tight. Mini Cooper does the best job of marketing by far and should be the standard for the rest of the industry. These days you see a lot of Mini's and there is a good reason for that."

"Bought a 2010 MINI S coupe. Engine blew at 250 miles due to bad wrist pin on one of the connecting rods..fluke warranty covered part failure. Got a MINI Clubman as a loaner while they decided to put a new engine in it. Liked the Clubman features better. Traded for a new 2011Clubman and love the car. No problems and we like it a lot. This car has personality."
