"I bought my 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5 S last Fall from a new car Chevy dealer at a great price. The car looks and drives like new. I put 2.5 K miles on it and so far no problems. I am very happy with it. Although it's a 4-cylinder car, I really don't feel much loss in performance compared with my 2000 6-cylinder Nissan Maxima, however, great improvement in miles/gallon."

"This is my third Altima, super hot looking car. Continously Variable Transmission is smooth as silk, interior is comfortable (could be classified as large car), gas efficent, engine is very peppy for a four cylinder. love driving this car!"

"I've driven my used altima for about 10k miles now and while I'm satisfied with it's general reliability, I am rather disappointed in it's overall performance and seemingly poor construction. The cabin is loud when driving on the highway and all the plastic components continuously rattle at speeds over 50 mph. Dealer said there doesn't appear to be any reason I'm experiencing this as everything is in line and working properly. I'd suggest looking at the sonata as I've recently tested how they performed and was much more satisfied with their overall performance and interior components."

"I needed a car to boost my credit, I obtained this base model for a much cheaper price. I was surprised at how well it did on gas, city 28, hwy 34-37 mpg. The interior is very user friendly and has the ability to set reminders for tire changes, oil changes, etc. There is enough room for 4 adults and luggage with this car. I drove mine for 3 1/2 yrs on a lease and actually got a new one at the end of my lease. I upgraded to the SL model and got heated leather seats, sunroof, steering wheel controls. The new car is just as great as my first one but has the luxury upgrade."

"Only had the car a short time and the transmission went out however it was covered under warranty Car is a big dissapointment on mpg a truck gets better mpg - hope to trade it in soon."

"Ever since i traded in my nissan pathfinder 2002 for my 2008 altima i have never looked back. The gas mileage is great. I love it.. I drove over 300 hundred milles with only 3/4 of a tank if not more. Its very smooth and the interior is beautiful. Yes leather would have been nice but the dark interior still makes me happy. The car is comfortable and smooth. Pls do not sleep on the i-4 engine it still has plenty of power....GET THIS CAR DONT HESISTATE GREAT VALUE."
