The Armada is a full-size SUV that can carry up to eight people in three rows. The Armada comes in SV, SL and Platinum trim levels and competitors include the Toyota Sequoia and Chevrolet Tahoe.
New for 2013
New standard features include a four-way power-adjustable passenger seat, a USB port and Bluetooth hands-free cellphone connectivity. A revised optional rear entertainment system now includes dual 7-inch screens in the head restraints.
A Platinum Reserve Package is also new. It brings unique 20-inch dark-chrome wheels, a dark-chrome grille and side mirrors, premium two-tone leather seats and dark-chrome cabin accents.
Exterior
There is a distinct slope to the Armada's roofline behind the second-row seats, breaking up what would otherwise be a conventional SUV shape. There are also standard chrome roof rails. Exterior features include:
- 18- or 20-inch wheels

- Standard power side mirrors that can be heated
- Optional integrated turn signals for side mirrors

The Armada has only one powertrain offering, a V-8, and it comes with a standard five-speed automatic transmission. The SUV is available with rear- or four-wheel drive and has a maximum towing capacity of 9,000 pounds when properly equipped. Mechanical features include:
- Standard 317-horsepower, 5.6-liter V-8 with 385 pounds-feet of torque
