Consumer Reviews
"I have the SV 2012 4x4 king cab with V6, 6 speed manual and have owned for one year, I have traveled from las vegas to albuquerque and then back to las vegas and averaged 21 mpg on the highway at an average speed of 65 mph, I have taken truck in for regular scheduled maintenance and truck has not let me down. Vehicle has 14,000 plus miles. This is the third frontier I have owned and am completely happy with truck."

"great on price , bad on gas. nissan is probably the best bang for the buck,if you cant afford a toyota,or a full size ford. very dependable, but the fuel milage is worse than my full size ford.im sure it wil be a good truck and its really cute!"

"I just bought a new 2012 Nissan Frontier 4x4 four door. The truck has a 4.0 liter V6 and is a six speed manual. The truck is a SV package and has some nice features. The truck has tons of power and easy to drive. The worst thing about this truck is the same as all trucks. "FUEL MILEAGE" The truck is getting around 17 to 18 mpg on average and thats better than 12 or 15 but that needs to improve. The truck was not overpriced and I got around 3500 off with factory rebates. I hope this helps anyone in the market for a new truck."

"My New Nissan Frontier is the smoothest riding Truck and Perfect size for me!, Its' so easy to maneuver..I am pretty good at backing it up as well.,always had a hard time with the larger size trucks...Totally happy with how it performs. My sales rep. Mark Kennedy at (Nissan of Newport News) was wonderful, he treated me with respect and felt like I was family.,very comfortable experience with him and the individuals that were part of the process..Thanks to you all and Nissan for making this truck.."just for me"..!:)"

"I live in a harsh environment, miles from pavement. The best trucks out there for me is Nissan Frontier. They hold up better than most if not all. I can not have a break down in 115 F desert heat so I choose over all other qualities, RELIABILITY. If it don't get me where I want to go, I don't want it. I don't use my truck as a car. I haul things in the back, I tow trailers behind it, this Frontier is a true work horse. These are my reasons for buying and continue buying these little Frontiers."

"Had my Frontier SV King Cab, 4cy, auto for over a year now. I still love the truck for what it is (affordable, reliable, sharp, comfortable, economical, practical) and I smile everytime I think of the price paid (got a great deal). Last 2 trucks were Tacoma, but the value was with Nissan. Daily commuter, weekend project truck, road warrier.... it is great for my needs. In the small/mid category, there is only Frontier and Tacoma. Frontier won the battle for me."

"My last vehicle was a 2006 Nissan Frontier. I was so happy w/ that one that when I wanted to get a new one, I looked NO FURTHER than Nissan again...for another Frontier. I drove my last one for 7 years and probably easily could have driven it another 5-7yrs more. I didn't need another Frontier. I WANTED another Frontier. This 2012 Frontier is an upgrade from my other in that it is loaded...sunroof, leather interior, heated seats/mirrors, Rockford/Fosegate Stereo w/ 6 disc CD Changer and power seats on BOTH the Driver's and Passenger sides. The Interior is stylish and Luxurious yet rugged enough to w/stand our son and his 12yr. old friends. The Exterior is tough looking yet the Chrome handles, bumper ends and mirrors give it a Luxurious look as well. The wheels are HOT! The vehicle drives smooth w/out the Truck-like feel. The roof rack and running boards finish off the Exterior look making heads turn wherever it is. The 4X4 works GREAT in the snow and handles like a charm. This truck is fun to drive no matter what the conditions are and I feel it is the safest vehicle that I could have chosen to put my family in w/out hesitation. What more could I possibly ask for?!? I would recommend a Nissan Frontier to ANYONE who is in the market for a Truck that can be a workhorse as well as a family vehicle."

"The Frontier is certainly is a great truck especially the bang for the buck part. I mean look its got a fully boxed frame. Go to your ford chevy or toyota dealer an peak your head under the rear side of the bed an you'll see weak C-pillar designs. Half fully boxed witch flex under load an pressure. Come on 2013 right? Right. The VQ40 is a 4 valve motor its got 4 cams, moly coated pistons, mirror finished crank and forged connecting rods, variable valve timing and more. Why dont you think they ever had to change the motor design? wards best engine 10 years plus. Iv owned toyota 4x4s, a 720 4x4, hardbody 4x4, roush mustang stage 2, turbo supras, sr 240s, wrangler, mazdaspeed3, I love my 2010 frontier 4x4 king cab 6 spd, and let me tell you that truck will pull a house down in 4 low. Iv pulled out stuck chevys fords toyotas u name it from sand mud and snow. They ask oh thats a nissan, only a v6 lol. That truck had a danna 44 or "m226 hydrid" w/e rear axle. Also the front ifs r180 diff is strong as heck. Id say its over engineered, Nissans are built bullitproof. Do the maintenance an it will last just like any other nissan they dont like neglection. NISSAN first jap company to sell a truck in the US back in the 50s and 60s, TITAN was the first fullsize in jap truck in the mrkt in 04. Im a Nissan technician and ill be trading my frontier for a king cab pro-4x titan end of the year during clearance. Nissans always under rate there stuff and under price there stuff dont let that fool you, they make tough stuff, and use all calsonic components. Ill miss my frontier, just to let u all know iv taken it to big bear snow, dumont dunes, el marriage dry lake bed, azusa cyns rock crawlen, its never let me down, only been pulled out of snow twice 10 inches of it. only mods were a 3 inch calmini spacer lift, 2 in rear blocks, total chaos UCA and 285-75-16 bfg muds km2"

"I purchsed the SL 4X4 edition and love the styling. Very sporty on the outside and sharp interior. I was torn between a Truck and a mid-size SUV but when compared the gas mileage and ability to haul things, I went with the truck. Unfortunately, I bought from Corwin Nissan in Jefferson City because I was told it was a "Family" dealer and would treat their customers right. Nothing could be further from the truth. Just as soon as the ink was dry on the contract the troubles began. They seem to go out of their way to make anything you need difficult and their service Manager is rude and unfriendly. Any time you call you get an answering machine and they never seem to be in any hurry to call you back. Never again Corwin Nissan!!!"
