"Purchased a 2006 SL and liked the room, features, and style. There is a bad blind spot when changing lanes so be careful. I loved the vehicle until the warranty ran out and then all the problems started. First the driver's sun visor broke ($500), caliper locked up at 59k miles ($725), and then the seat track broke on the driver's seat at 59K miles ($1,225 Nissan finally agreed to pay for it after I called everyone at corporate office). I had a SL loaded with every option and you would not expect to have these types of issues from a vehicle with a $38,000 price tag. I was very disappointed and once the seat track was repaired I traded it for 2010 Toyota Highlander SE and could not be happier. This makes my 5th Toyota/Lexus purchase and would recommend Toyota over Nissan any day of the week."

"The car handles great, very powerful and looks great. Everything you would expect except for the advertised gas consumption. 19 city??? I've been watching the fuel econ screen and trying to drive in a manor that will give me better gas milage... I can't seem to get it over 14.5 miles per gallon. Also, this may be an oddity... but I pushed down the AWD Lock and if fell through the console?? Other wise... I love it."

"Researched the 2006 lexus, 2007pathfinder, 2007 xterra and the 2005 4runner. None of them match the ride,design,comfort,stereo system with the value and price."

"New it as soon as I saw it. All I had to do was take it for a test drive. I was lucky enough to be on the Nissan lot in West Palm Beach, FL. when the one I ended up buying came in from a lease return. Faith. It was exactly what I was looking for. 2006 with 10,500 miles. White on tan with everything loaded. Just perfect. Looking forward to a long relationship with this SUV."

"OK...so I have had the car for a few days. I will come back and write another review. So far it's an awesome vehicle. The seat...oh the seats are so comfy. I love it. I have never sat in a car so comfy before. Wide and spacious, and soooo comfortable. I feel like I am on a cloud. Now I have the Murano AWD S and although it does not have all the bells and whistles, I feel spoiled driving it. The CVT is great!!! I have had 4 cylinder cars before so this is great. Gas mileage is not that great, but what can I say...I just love it. So if u want me to tell you..here it is. GO GET ONE....You'll love it. I know my wife wants one now. So next time around we will get her one too."

"Both my sister-in-law and brother-in-law have Muranos. They had said how great it was. I just purchased an 06 Murano and they were right. I love it. I particularly like the CVT transmission. No matter how hard you hit the gas, you do not feel it shift at all. The V6 is very powerful and the right size for this vehicle. It does feel a little top heavy on the on/off ramps, but I would highly recommend it to my friends and family."

"I love my Murano, but I have to admit, I do have a problem. When the engine is warm, the coolant fan kicks on, there is a terrible smell coming from the engine compartment. It smells like anti freeze. Unfortunately, there is no one at Nissan that has been able to help me with this problem. The radiator has been changed, the radiator cap twice and the coolant tank twice and still have the smell. It is very frustrating!!!!!"

"I love my Murano so much that I traded in my 2004 for a 2006 and couldn't be happier! Easily the best vehicle I've ever had. Previous cars include the Accord, Altima and Maxima. I'd purchase another tomorrow! This SUV drives like a sports car and the power you get is nothing less than exciting. For those of you who have a Murano, you know the real meaning of the phrase "Its a Murano thing!" Cheers!"

"The Murano has really surprised me. I can't fault it. I love everything about it... exterior and interior design... comfort... perfomance... road handling... it's quietness. I love the instrumentation... love the music system... love the climate control... love the birdview sat nav... love the wonderful overall driving view, sunroof, etc etc etc. Put simply this is a first class 'feel good' vehicle. "I have a Nissan Maxima '00, Nissan Frontier '02 and also the Nissan Murano '06. I guess you could say I like Nissan's. We just purchased the Murano the beginning of January '07 because of the great incentives that Nissan was offering on the '06 models, however, there wasn't much of a selection at the dealership we went to. The reason I selected my 2006 Murano was because of appearance. Back in 2003 when they first were available, I knew one day I would get one. I like the design and features offered. I will have to say, because I have the leather package on my Murano, that in the winter, it is nice to be able to warm up my tush, without having to wear many articles of clothing. I wish they also had the option to cool the seats because of Texas heat, I am going to burn my legs."
