In 2013 the Nissan Pathfinder adopted a unibody platform to get better gas mileage and driving refinement. It is powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 and is offered in four trim levels: S, SV, SL and Platinum. Competitors include the Ford Explorer, Dodge Durango and Chevrolet Traverse. There is a hybrid version, covered separately in the Cars.com Research section. New for 2014 A new SL Tech Package includes features such as a Bose 13-speaker premium audio system, navigation system with traffic and weather, voice recognition, Bluetooth streaming audio and an 8.0-inch color touchscreen monitor.
