Consumer Reviews
"The transmission sucks!!! Very costly to have serviced with lots of thing to be serviced. Mine makes a noise in the transmission when you drop it out of overdrive sounds like it is between two gears have to take it out of gear to make it stop. Never got more than 23 miles per gal of gas ever on a long trip by myself. I have only 35 K miles and already have started having to replace parts on this car. I have owned Honda, Mazda as well as all of the American brands and the only one that compares to this car is Chev."

"I recently had to drive one while my truck was in the body shop to be repaired and the performance was not what it should be and the 2 speed gear box is very sluggish in shifting gears the ride quality very poor.. where is the 5 speed or 6 speed auto gear box for better fuel economy..the instrument cluster too much digital readouts where is the oil pressure gauge and volt gauge..the seats very uncomfortable lacks lumbar support. look at another suv like a ford or chevy my 2004 Blazer rides better and the interior is laid out better"

"I bought my Rogue just a few weeks ago and all I have to say is I LOVE IT! The gas mileage is fantastic, I'm averaging 25MPG with a mix of highway and intown driving. The vehicle is super comfortable for both the driver and passengers. I've had no complaints and the backseat being too small for an average size adult. The cargo area is a nice size, it's not terribly large, so I dont have to worry about packing it full of junk. The back seats and the front passenger seat all fold down, so I have plenty of room in case I need to transport anything pretty large. I love that the dash and front panel are not cluttered with unnecessary gadgets. It gives the Rogue a nice clean look. My bluetooth works great, I havent had any strange voice dialing incidents, and it's really easy to use. The USB and AUX hookups work great, they work great with my MP3 player (Sony Walkman) and are also very easy to use. What is also fantastic about this car is all of the storage space. The glove compart is HUGE. Apparently it was designed to fit a laptop and it locks, which is great. The console it pretty large too. All in all, this was a great buy and I recommend everyone interested in a cross-over to check it out."

"This car is roomy and has excellent gas mileage. To help you save money it has a mpg indicator. I get 25.1 mpg on a tank of gas. The highway I have gotten 27. I was late for work and was on the NJTP going 8-. Rode smooth. I got 24.7 mpg. It drives and handles well. The car is comfy. I wanted to get a Murano. I did not see $3000 in ride and comfort between the 2. The car is roomy. I came from an Xterra, I can get a lot in the trunk if I think about it. The handsfree is cool. Just dont let yoru child use it. It now has to be retrained. THe USB interacts well with my phone mp3 player. THe instructions say that if you have Apple products you can watch videos and see album covers. They need to expand this feature to other mp3 players. I wish you could play your music through the bluetooth like other car manufactorers. I wish it had a bigger tank. But it has good range. About 350 miles to the tank. Write now I have no major complaints about the car."

"I love my Nissan Rogue so much more the Honda CRV! We test drove both cars and the Rogue is less expensive with a smoother ride and is more comfortable. Plus, the convenience of the push start engine is out of this world! No need to pull my keys out of my purse, all I have to do is touch a button! Thank you Nissan for making a reliable SUV at an unbeatable price."

"I bought the 2012 Rogue SV and we really like the vehicle. It has all the features we need and none of the ones we don't. Its reliable, looks and works great and great fuel economy. Definitely recommended for the price. About the only thing that Nissan needs to fix is that the CVT groans a little bit when going up slopes. But I already knew that before buying the car and its not an issue for me. Recommended buy."

"My 2001 Nissan Xterra DIED! I bought the Rogue because of the gas mileage and price. It is 1 inch bigger than a murano. The murano has a slightly better ride and a few more gimmics. However, these gimmics did not add up to the 2-3000 extra in price The car rides wonderfully. The ride will lull you to sleep it is so smooth. So do not turn the heat up to high, make sure you play active music on the stereo. The stereo sounds wonderful. I have the SV and the funk is rolling with me in my car. The sound is full. I get an average of $25 miles per gallon. I sometimes can go for a while in the 50MPG range. (It has a gauge that makes it fun to save gas) Beware. You need a new cell phone to get the bluetooth to work. The USB works for music in the cell phone. But is only limited to the first 1000 songs. The USB input does not play music on my Zune. But it is an older model. The USB for music on my droid bionic does display the album and artist. The video back up is handy. it only shows what is on the ground. So you still have to look around. THE GUY IN VERIZON TOLD ME HIS PHONE PLAYS THROUGH HIS BLUETOOTH CONNECTION. No such luck with the Rogue. However, the AUX input comes in handy to access all my songs. The bluetooth phone function voice commands do not work well. It comes up with some strange dialing. Overall, I love my Rogue. When buying a car, bring your internet device to check rates and payments."

"I've only had it for 2 months, and only used it to drive to the Metro Park and Ride near the house for my daily commute to work, so have not had a chance to get it out on the open road yet. So far, it performs well, which I expected. Only concern is that the engine, when cold starting and accelerating, makes a clicking noise similar to engine knocking due to low quality gas. However, when the engine warms up the noise goes away. I find the suspension a bit stiff and the interior amenities are not as useful as my Toyotas. Preliminary gasoline usage indicates about 19+ mpg, all city driving."
