"I've enjoyed this car while I've had it. It not only gets great gas mileage but hasn't broken down on me or had any real problems. :)"

"This is car is easy and fun to drive. It is nimble and easily responds to the driver's whim. The seats are comfortable and the rear has surprising space. This car has no blind spots. You really get the feeling that you have eyes in the back of your head. It is inexpensive and low maintenance. For the class, you can't do much better."

"Good value for the money. Clever interior design, enough room and very comfortable when I drive alone. Great gas milage. Not very quick, but what can you expect from 4-cyl. 1.8?"

"I bought this car to use at college, and so far it is awesome. Even though it may not exceed expectations with raw acceleration, it is a dream to drive through the countryside along a windy road. The suspension blows all other competitors out of the window."

"I had this vehicle since I was 17 (i am now 22). This was my first NEW vehicle that my parents purchase for me and sent me off to college. The Sentra was a great car at first, reliable, great gas mileage. After owning that car for 2 years, EVERYTHING WENT DOWNHILL EVEN THOUGH IT WAS INSPECTED OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Everything broke on my car. trunk, windows, speakers, my cd player!!! my arm rests in the front always falls off as well as the piece of plastic along the driver's door. The alignment is horrible!! It's a great car if you're young and need something at a low maintenence, price and great gas mileage. But as you get older, it's not really the perfect car any more."

"I've haad the SE-R since 2002. It's not a horrible car but it's just poorly built. The mirror cap on the visor broke off in year 2, which was probably the 4th time I flipped it up. It has a battery/starting issue that it's had since the recall for an ignition fix. If I start it and move it only a few feet, say to move it out of someone's way, when I go to restart it, it won't go. At almost 60K, the horn went--apparently, this is common (among online posters anyway). and it's not an easy fix. The interior of the car is cheap and pieces just fall apart. Plus, the brakes can't be trusted. I heard it's a rotor warp issue, but can't confirm. It's a great looking car with some pickup, but you just can't trust it. I won't buy a Nissan again."

Be Prepared for trouble!!!!

"First off let me say that I am not the typical Se-R owner. I take excellent care of my vehicles and dont beat on them, so with that being said; I recently purchased a 2002 Nissan Sentra Se-R SpecV and all I can say is that I am definetly regreting it. I bought the car with 62000 miles from a used car dealership less then 2 months ago, and so far I have invested about $3000 in repair costs. 1st the clutch went bad, and now the transmission needs to be replaced. Carfax shows that I am the 4th owner of this car(wish I knew that sooner), and in that time it has had the engine replaced twice, the transmission replaced once, and also the clutch. If you dont mind spending your entire check on repair costs then this is a good buy. I should have bought a Mazda!"

"The Nissan Sentra was the first car that I ever had, it was purchased for me by my parents, and I love it. It is extremely reliable, mine has had absolutely no problems, and I would recommend it to anyone. The only problem is how low riding it is, I prefer to be higher up off the ground and like SUVs more than sedans. But if you are fond of sedans this is the one for you."
