  • Transmission is sticking in 1st gear . .. not able

Awesome car . I’m having some transmission slipping ..major red flag .. but I’m so happy with the overall performance otherwise since I’ve owned other many other problems when they were high mileage . I’d buy a Nissan Sentra again if I could afford it . Older lady .. wishing I could get my Transmission to not be sluggish in 1st gear !!!! Transmission sticking !!

  • A middle lane car.

It’s a good car if you keep up with all the maintenance and do transmission maintenance. If you miss the 50k mile maintenance you’re guaranteeing your transmission failing. It’s not worth the money they sell it for. That being said I’ve had it for 5 years and put 75k miles on it.

  • Nissan keeps knowingly putting garage transmission

Nissan keeps knowingly putting garage transmissions in their cars, presumably to win gas mileage awards. My fault for buying the car I guess, I could have done more research when I bought it but either didn't come across the issue or believed their b.s about fixing the issues with their CVT. Unless you want a car that has a transmission that regularly goes well before 100,000, I'd pass on this car asap or sell it if your transmission is still ok. ( This doesn't pertain to the one with the manual transmission )
