"The most expensive car you can buy was our 1997 Voyage (we bought it new). Door handles fell out when it was new! Tape player/radio malfunctions Wipers turn on by themselves ...and these were the minor problems!! Major problems: Brakes, brakes, brakes (about every 5-7K miles) 2 transmissions (not under warranty - 49K miles) (First and second in my lifetime!) Head gasket (rumored manufacturers defect but never covered) (first in my life) Radiator replacement (first in my life) The odometer works well, as does the speedometer and gas guage. Blinkers are excellent also. In sum, very poor quality for any amount of money."

"Traded in our unreliable 1997 escort for the Voyager. Has lots of bells and whistles, no repairs needed, trani runs smooth, we love it! Tire brands are limited due to the tire size. A bit of roll on turns, but the turning radius is short. I've had 3 Fords and they have all been horrible. I've had 2 Chysler's and they have surpassed 200,000 miles with minor repairs. A win-win van!"
