"2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, bought used but really cared for by previous owner. My 4th Grand Prix, had a 95, a 98,and a 99 previously and almost cried when GM stopped production in favor of the Buick. Reliability, comfort, safety was no problem. I will own a Pontiac Grand Prix as long as there is one available."

"Have owned and worked on many cars, this is a great car for the money. I get about 27- 32 mpg and do mostly 45-55 mph driving. the down fall is tht the upper intakes leak on the GT, which is an easy fix if you take your time. there are other small things but over all I feel that it is a very reliable car, having a 3.8 liter with approx. 200 horses isnt bad either hope if you get one, you enjoy it as much as I do mine"

"I have had this car for a few years now and have never regreted it. I have 227,000 on it and is still going strong. the only problem i had was the cam shaft sensor go out and the driver side window motor...but got those fixed and has never been an issue again. I would recommend this car for a college student, or for a first car."

"I have owned my 2002 Grand Prix GTP for going on 4 years. I love it. I have had to fix small things like converter, replace headlights but they are cheap, my mechanic suggested drilling a tiny hole in the cover to let condensation out, have to do this. Great mileage, performs well. I enjoy driving this car every single day to work and travelling."

"i perchased this vehicle in may 2010 with 158,000 miles on it. I immediately took it to my mechanic and he stated this is a good used car. he stated i really lucked out. The only thing he recommended was to change the front passanger tire. which we didi immediately that day. Gas mileage is fantastic. Im averaging about 345 miles on a full tank IN THE CITY. so far I have nocomplaints....lets keep our fingers crossed."

"I bought this car new and it's still my daily driver. I lightly modified the car the 1st year I owned it, 2.4 pulley, CAI, Plugs, Shift kit, exhaust, HPTuner custom tune. The car runs very strong and is a blast to drive for a big car. I average 17 city and high 20's highway still with mods and moderately aggressive tune and driving habits. However it has it's problems & issues. The problematic plastic upper and lower intake manifold gaskets went bad at 55k which I replaced for 200 bucks saving close to $1000 the dealer would have charged. I had the trans replaced but that was from me beating on it but its the weak link in the drive train. Last year my keys got stuck in the ignition and wouldn't rotate. Fixed that too but it took some research on the net to do so. At the end of the day I still love this big fast American made car and it still make people smile when the supercharger starts whining and the car starts flying."
