"Car is wonderful plenty of power and almost to much torque. MPG is good for a V8. The interior is comfy and and we'll designed, keep the leather polished to avoid splitting. It excelarates like a ZO6 Rides like a Caddy and cost far far less."

"The best car I have owned, one of the best sounding cars out there. I mean it has a corvette engine so you know it's solid! It's also not to bad on gas with the 6 speed trans. But my favorite part is how unique the car is you see maybe one a week if your looking for one."

"I've driven many "hot" cars since I first drove in the mid 60s. Sports cars, Detroit steel muscle cars and pony cars. The 2004 GTO is faster and handles better that it's predecessors. The 5.7 liter power plant runs smooth and supplies all the power to the rear tires through a smooth shifing 6-speed manual. Most fun I've had behind a wheel since I dropped a 428 in a 67 Cougar in 1970."

"I have had my 04 GTO for almost 3 years now, I bought it used. Even with 82000 miles on it and 6 years under its belt it has only been in the shop for routine maintenance and is still as fun to drive as the day I got it. Now my wife's 06 Beetle has been in the shop almost a dozen times since we bought it new."

"If you can find one for a reasonable price with relatively low miles, don't think about it...BUY IT!!!...Absolutely LOVE this car..definite head turner NOBODY has em..good luck pulling up to a GTO at a red light...and for a V8 it can easily get 25-27mpg..and did I mention how fast it is..it's fun watching mustangs and camaro drivers second guess themselves when they see the side decal "GTO 5.7L"...Yeeaaaa!!!!"

"This is car is the best car that I have bought. It rides smoothly and is comfortable. And from my opinion, is great on gas for a V8. If you are looking for a sports car, then look for a GTO."

"when i first looked at the gto i was like it looks like a g8 gpt but when i took it for a test drive it was the best handling fastest car i ever drove and i have had bmw m3 a nsx and a viper as well as a few mustang cobras too this gto beat them all it feels like a bmw with the speed of a viper!"

"i have an 04 gto and with the upgrads to the ls1 it is running close to 450hp. the performance is outstadnding. i have a hard time figuring out why this car didn't catch on. it will run circles around a mustang gt. o well something i will never know."
