"I bought my 928S4 2yrs ago. I have had to spend several thousand dollars to get the car to the level of dependability. Judging from various articles from other owners this is not the unusual. The 928S4 is a unique car in its styling. It is one of the heaviest porsches made thus making it not as desirable on the race track as the others 911, boxsters, turbos etc. I recommend it as a collectors's item , weekend cruiser or nice performer for a con- servative minded driver. The electronics on the later model 928's are highly technical and would require mechanical expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical problems that often arise."
