Under the Hood
The base engine is a horizontally opposed 2.9-liter six-cylinder with 265 horsepower. The 3.4-liter in the Cayman S generates 320 hp. Both engines are available with a manual or PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission. Porsche says the Cayman S with the PDK automatic is the quickest version, able to hit 60 mph in 4.9 seconds.
