"I would not recommend this car to my friends, like my mom did to me. even it is free. After couple of years, alot of little things broke down. Transmission broke down twice, once under warranty and the second is after the warranty is over at 128,000 miles. Smells burnt oil and gear will not engage properly. Engine at 48,000 miles burns oil, told them the engine needed to be replace. The dealer said engine is okay. After the waranty is over mechanic said needs new engine the valve seal is shut, one reason for burning oil - out off warranty. Has a record at dealership, however told my mom for a different thing. At 54,000 miles, check engine light came on, catalytic converter problems, replaced., again at 101,000, replaced, with sensors after failing emissions test. Winsdshield wiper not working, the window botton broke, not working. Headlght switch broke, came off. Few times starter would turn but will not connect to engine, sound like grinding metal. Back to my old car, mom's old '91 Civic EX."

"Like my lttle wagon because I get alot of stares from everybody because my is a right hand steer. Bought it from a mail carrier who bought it new and it was nothing but country roads. they decided to sell and I got it, fun to drive and get around. Right back door making squecking sounds but got over it.Other than that, regular maintance and off I go"

"I bought the car used because I'm trying to save on gas. It does well for the miles but little things seem to creep up. The front bumper keeps wanting to fall off for no reason. The 2 back windows won't stay up. I use a door stop wedged in tight to keep them up. A plastic sounding vibration in the dash. The car is a little bit loud and nothing wrong with the exhaust system. A small wire under the seat which connects to the handle which allows you to move the seat back and forth broke off and now the seat is in one spot. It's just the little stuff that drives you crazy. But as for basic transportation to get you from A to B, it does just fine. If you can get a deal on a used one (i got mine for 1200.00) go for it. It is fun to drive and easy to run around town in."
