"The Scion FRS I've purchased as a first time buyer will show how much hard work I must go through. But on a better note I love this car like no other! Smoothe handling, quick and comfortable."

"This cars will not meet everyone's needs. However if what you want is a small and speedy sports car that offers solid handling and great gas mileage (for a sports car) then this is the one to get! The exterior styling is beautiful in any color and while the interior finish could be better (the sound system unit is awful to look at) it does not detract from the beauty of this car at all."

"I bought this car thinking I was getting a sports car; that was not the case. This car is cheaply built, the engine performance is dismal at best, and the handling- which every sports car enthusiast is interested in, is absolutely disappointing! I would recommend buying this car if you want to look like you know how to drive, but don?t buy this car if you are a true Sports Car Enthusiast!"

"most bang for the buck. I actually got to talk to ken Gushi in my life at longo toyota. And after talking from him i got to say everything makes sense. this car is not meant for speed. if you want a fast car get a mustang. but the mustang has no soul. this car was made from three really good cars and the biggest name is the Corolla gt. or ae86. or s13. It doesnt matter how many names the ae86 the point is that the ae86 was not fast but had really good handling yet was able to beat super cars like the nissan gt. "r32" for short. it was able to beat any car turn by turn. Ken Gushi told me that this car is meant to reward the driver because its all about the driver. no other car that i have driven has this same affect to this car. I love my Fr-s and every time i sit in it, I have a smile to my face. I will say it is not the perfect car, but then again their is no such thing as the perfect car. this car has small rear seats so that the insurance is not high. unlike the honda s2000 and the nissan 350z. Ken told me that this car is gonna be a collector car one day, and i agree with him all the way. if your a young guy that wants to have the time of his life, then i recommend you get this car. if you have 2 kids and a wife, this car is not meant for you, the beautiful things about cars is that you can test drive these cars for yourselves. so go to a scion dealership and get the same thrill i get every time i step into this car."

"Beautiful handling. Good power. I thought I had gotten my love of sports cars out of my system until I saw the FR-S and its Subaru twin. The ride is stiff to support the handling, so if you want a turnpike cruiser look elsewhere. Owning a FR-S, you look for tortuous roads to test your skill - the car will deliver whatever you ask of it."

"This is not the car for everyone. It is however, THE car for someone who loves the driving experience, more specifically curvy mountain roads and winding tracks. Toyota-Subaru absolutely nailed the handling and weight distribution on this car. The driver position, the controls (esp. the shifter in the manual trans) the central tachometer are all perfectly and intuitively placed. The interior is not luxurious by any means, but neither is it econo-box cheap. Soft touch materials abound, and even the stock sound system is very good. I have driven the 370Z, Miata, and Genesis Coupe, and none of those come close to matching the driving experience on this machine. I'm certain a Porsche Boxster or Cayman would surpass it, but that is simply not affordable to many people. Thank you Toyota and Subaru for making this vehicle."

"Fun car, great price, for being an affordable sports car completely worth it. One problem in the interior is the lights conflict. HVAC lights are standard orange and all the others are red. :/ Also HID are not standard while with the BRZ they are."

"For the price it handles great! If you master the shifting has plenty of power. Gas milage is great at 28. The seat holds you in place on really sharp corners. I don't go to close to red line, I just have fun!"

"My first car was a 1974 Toyota Celica GT and although it was not a high power car, it was fun to drive, extreamly reliable, and good on gas. I've been waiting for a replacement for a long time and I have not been disapointed. The FR-S is a blast to drive, very economical to operate, and hopefully as reliable as was the Celica. So far, 2500 miles, I have been completely satisfied and would recommend it to anyone. The styling is awesome, fit and finish is excellent, very comfortable to drive, and performs great."

"Very solid no flex car. Point and shoot handling and so much fun on tight twisty roads. I am getting 30 plus mpg and it is not quite broken in yet. Six speed makes sure you always have the right gear at hand. The car is very comfortable to drive long distances and has the best stereo I have ever seen stock. Very limited and I mean very very limited foot room in back seat. Also you would not want to be very tall either. It does make for good space for additional luggage or the dog. This is a wonderful fun fast car to take trips in. Love my FR-S."
