"I have owned my 05 TC for several months now. I love this car! It has great pickup and drives great. Cons: The speaker system is sub par. 160 watts over six speakers is poor sound. Over sized cd player. Pros: Horsepower. This car can beat most cars out there. Of course styling and and all the little features. 300 miles to the gallon using premium gas. I actually get better gas mileage with 93 than 87. I wish they would have bumped the HP up a little bit more to compete with the Si. They need to make the car a 6 speed I hit 3,000 rpms in 5th gear at 65 miles an hour. All in all this car is GREAT!!!"

"I love my car. It is reliable, gets good gas mileage, and fun to drive. The seats are comfortable and TONS of storage room. There are a few blind spots; however after driving it for a spell you adjust. I love my car!!"

"I would recommend a Scion TC to any owner, male or female. It is easy to customize, but comes loaded with fun standard features. It is safe for young drivers and great for the young at heart! Great value and one that always turns heads! Be sure to check out limited edition models that have extra features that make them even more desirable."

"I own a 2005 tC that I purchased in 2004. I have had "0" complaints about the car as far as its reliability. It's a Toyota, after all. There are a few things to note on quality however. First, the sunroof and the radio cover both started making annoying "squeaky" noises about 3-6 months after I bought the car. The dealership took care of this annoyance under warranty. Also, the fabric on the driver and passenger seat is pulling away from the side seat release knob. It is another minor annoyance, but something you would not expect from a new car. Finally, the floor mats, which are not standard, are pretty cheap. The driver side mat had a hole bored through it by my left foot in less than 3 months. I needed to get a cheap mat from Target to cover the hole. That's it for complaints. The rest is all positive. Handling, comfort, reliability, good looks, and standard features - the car is a true bargain. I even wanted to add the supercharger, but found out that it requires premium gas. Not at $3.30 a gallon! The peppy 160 hp engine which requires regular gas is fine by me."

"I've had my Azure Pearl manual transmission Tc for about a month now, and I love the thing. I'm obsessing over it a bit too much for my friends' comfort, in fact. I fell in love with the external style of the thing from the start. Internally, there's a lot more room than you'd expect for a car this size, especially in the back seat. The reclining rear seats are appreciated by my tall friends. There's very little I can say that's bad about the car, but that being said, there are a few things worth mentioning. I'm averaging 26 mpg per tank, which is right where the EPA estimates were, but I'm still dissapointed. Some other reviewers said theirs got 30 or more miles per gallon. Still, that's better than most larger cars so I can't complain too much. This is definitely not a practical car for people with kids, dogs, or lots of stuff to tote around town (I have none of the above). The space in the rear hatch is actually quite small with the seats up. That's pretty much it for the negatives. Everything else, from the great pick-up to the solid cornering to the wonderful moonroofs has got me hooked. Here's something you might not realize - the entire top of the car is glass. when I stop at the gas station, I can clean the entire thing with a squeegee! The aluminum alloy wheels are great looking, but I find I have to clean the brake dust off of them about once a week to keep them shiny. If I could buy it again, I'd get the short shifter to make quick work of up-shifting. And I recommend getting the mud guards. The competing Honda Civic may get better mileage, but it's a "Plain Jane" compared to the Tc. Go for it - you won't regret it."
