"I will start this out by simply saying in the one year I have owned this car, it has been nothing but trouble!. Besides the fact that the transmission often refuses to be put in reverse and 1st gear (it often simply wont move into these positions at a complete stop), I have sunk a lot of money trying to fix this car up so I can enjoy the good parts of this car, which believe me are few. For those of you who believe this is a sports car, IT IS NOT!! It does not drive like a sports car, doesn't handle like a sports car, it only looks like a sports car! After having a host of electrical problems, which for some reason were NOT covered under the "bumper to bumper" warrenty, then getting into an accident with this car, which did poorly on the IIHS crash test safety test I might add, Toyota decided to take their sweet time in sending the necessary parts to fix my car to the dealer, overall it took them 5 weeks. 5 WEEKS! Being without a car for 5 weeks was completely unacceptable, and after the pitiful 3 year/36,000 mile warrenty is up in 1,000 miles, I plan on selling my car and never buying another Toyota product for the rest of my life. Don't make the same mistake I did!"

"I bought this 2008 Scion TC Flint Mica from the dealer about 2 years ago brand new and loves it. Test drove the car without realizing that i was in 3rd gear when we were in the freeway the whole time and i was impressed of the power that the little engine is putting out. The only negative i can say about this car is blind spot unless you have a blindspot mirror installed on both side mirrors. All in all this car is awesome 10 stars!"

"I bought my Scion tc 2 years ago, and I love it. I have received so many compliments on the style and color (pearl blue). It can get up and go when I want it to, and it comes with some really cool accessories like an ipod jack and double sun roof. The only downfall with the 2 door design is the back seat is pretty small and my male friends complain about having to sit in the back. It will probably not be the car of choice once I have a car seat to put in because getting to the back seat is difficult. Other than that, it's been a dream to drive, is perfect for me cruising around with the sunroof open, and gets a lot of looks. Plus it was only $18k brand new."

"This car is a lemon! Transmission is not good. It will not stand up to normal use. Our car has 20,000 miles and Toyota is refusing to honor their warranty. I would not buy this car. We are thousands into fixing a manufacturer defect."

"I purchased my used 2008 tC a few weeks ago. I knew nothing of this car until I decided that I needed a smaller, more fuel-efficient car. I love Toyotas but I was not impressed with the Yaris, Matrix, or Corolla - I was looking for something a bit more sporty. I came across this used Scion tC at the Toyota lot and was immediately impressed with its sporty looks and value for the price. I did my research and bought it with no doubt in my mind that I made a great choice. It handles like a much more expensive sports car. The sound system is amazing. I would recommend this car to anyone."

"I purchased a tC brand new about two years ago. I've had many compliments on the exterior styling, and would have to say the gas mileage was terrific. Interior room was sufficient for a small car. Never had any issues with handling, although the original tires had to be replaced after just 25K miles. Performed great as a little car, but eventually needed something bigger like a truck to haul things. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone."

"Owning a 2008 Scion tC is nothing much to arque about. Though, there are some flaws such as Handling through bumps-feels unstable. Cautious driving are needed when driving on wet pavement because wheels tend to spin when accelerating on 1st gear. Enough power to go through any hills with ease. In & Out stylings are average though it is hard while changing lanes when looking both sides. All in all its the Best Money Can Buy!"

"I bought my 2008 TC 3 weeks ago. And I disagre to those who say that car is not good in the highways. I just drove it from Houston to Miami and if felt nice. The 5 speed transmission was hard to handle it when I just bought it, but after that 1300 miles drive it got smooth and now shifting is easier and faster. It also saves gas. Other 4-cylinder and 2.4L won't save as much gas as the TC. Recommended to EVERYONE. Sporty, nice, and fast."

"After being hit in a hit and run 3 months ago i decided it was time to upgrade to a new car. Still stayed in the toyotoa area, had a 00 corolla. When i seen the tc i was in awe with the car. Test drove 3 to compare them to each and loved each test. I now own my own and love every minute of it .The guy at the dealership said it was a bumpy ride, I disagree! I took my brand new car home to Salisbury,MD which isa 4hr drive from Richmond,Va where i live at now and every minute of it was smooth even on VA's bumpy roads. I Love my new car!! Just wished the cd player was a 6cd changer but oh well its all good!!"
