"the 05 scion was a great car great gas mileage handled great the only thing i didn't like tht much but i could live with was the outside design it was like a square box but the inside was big and easy to get into for a big guy (6'1 305lbs) so when the design changed in 2008 i went to copeland toyota in brockton mass and looked at the new ones the design is better (my opion) the car is great so great i bought the 2008 and traded my 2005 i missed the 2005 for a week or so but now i am glad i got the new 1 if the body style did not change i would still be in the 05 it was a great car just a little funny lookin any ways hope the new owner enjoys it ......."

"I brag about this car constantly, wonderful gas mileage, lots and lots of interior room, excellent handling on the road. I can go on and on but I'll say that this is the best car I have ever driven. It is so comical because before I got this car when I went anywhere with my son, we took his car now he holds out his hand for my keys. My brother and I recently took a long trip, this was the first time he had driven my car and he was amazed at the pickup and handling of my xB on the highway. The only fault I have found is the placement of the clock, it is hard to set."

"We bought a used 2005 Xb with low miles recently. It is a great vehicle for around town trips! I've been able to customize it at reasonable prices via online auction sites. The interior room is very good. The ride is pretty smooth, although you can tell it is a small car when you hit a bump. Acceleration and handling is about average. So far, we are very pleased with the car!"

"This is a commuter car and it is very roomy and since it is a Toyota it will run until the wheels fall off. My neighbor who is also 6'4" was comfortable in the back while I was driving. Good little car and there are lots of after market accessories."

"This car is so comfortable. You have as much space on the back as you do on the front. I use this car not only to transport people, but tools. I am a carpenter and I use this all the time. I also use it to transport instruments. I play in a band. the controls to push the back seat to the front are so easy to use, and when you are done you have so much space to transport things. This is the best car I had. Don't get fooled by the 108 hp. this car Picks up speed really fast"

"we are a family of 4, my wife and i have 11 and 14 year old boys. we looked for a car with great head and leg room for our growing family. after compairing dozens of suv's the xb had more leg room. the great gas mileage is also a plus. were getting 30-36 mpg. most the time when i fill up i get other drivers asking me about the xb. we have owned ours for 1 year and have put 39000 miles on it. so thats about $3000 in gas. thats about half what other suvs would cost."

"A really great combination of style, economy and reliability. I rarely have to fill up and when I do it?s less than what most people have to pay. Surprisingly, the interior has more headroom than most trucks. The stock sound system could use better speakers, but the optional 6-disc CD player was a good pick. It's also a breeze to park in the city, with its short body I can get it into some tight spots. The backseats fold down so you can actually haul some larger items like TVs and furniture. My only problem with the car is the sluggish initial acceleration. Other than that I would highly recommend it."

"Bought Scion Xb in summer of 2005 and have driven 15000 miles. The car is an excellent handling machine especially in the city. It has no peer for headroom or visibility. This is especially nice since I am very long in the torso. I used to have to drive laying down and it is a joy to drive bolt upright like in a van. I consider the Xb to be the first micro van. It has a very comfortable and spacious back seat so comfortable and easy entry they are using the Solar Yellow Xb's as cabs. The rear cargo space might appear to be limited when you first look at it but it is truly wonderful. Backpacks and wheeled suitcases stand up nicely and the rear hatch has been very cooperative. Unlike minivan the cargo is small an upright enough not to fly around. The speedometer took a little while to get used to but not I wish my other vehicle had it in the middle. It is less distracting at night. The seats are better than I would expect at this price range but have gotten tiring on a long trip. Toyota has worked hard to make the Xb stable but it would not be my first choice in a windstorm even with traction control and standard ABS. Turns are not bad and since I often go from one Interstate to another a sllight reduction in speed is all that is needed. It does not have great pickup but it is acceptable and more lively than one might expect from a 108 hp engine. While mine is Dark Cherry any Xb turns heads and can cause discussions at the gas pump. It is easy on gas but 29mph is more normal than 31mph. Fringe benefit for summer the large windows simulate a convertable. Yes it has flaws. Ready 1) Scion has yet to figure wipers for the upright windows and bugs are particularly fond othe windshield. 2) The stereo is too good and can be distracting when my son is in control of the radio. 3) It handles so well my wife complains about how the Van handles. So I end up with the Possum Van. Kudos to Honda for the Element it made it a hard choice."
