"When it comes to comfort for a tall person in cars, inexpensive and comfortable do not go together. The Scion Xb changes that and introduces a new option to an other wise world of to small cars and this comfort is not just for tall people. But to only mention the comfort of the Xb would not give the car any justice. The features are more then you wouldn't even expect on a car five thousand dollars more expensive. Performance and Handling are to be expected; it is not a sports car and will never be, but when it comes to the average drive the Xb can jump of the line pretty well and cruising at 75mph is no problem. Gas millage is ok, i guess this is one of those things you always want more of. To date 27mpg is about the average. To sum it up, if you want a good car to use in daily life but still gives a good feeling when you get in, then the Xb is a great choice. Also get the manual transmission, personal opinion yes, but a little extra work shifting will give you a much better car and experience."

"I'm 16 years old and my parents got me a 2008 White Scion xb and I can't get over how much I love this car! The first thing people and myself noticed is the unique exterior of the car, the great stereo system, how spacey it is inside, the price for a car like this, the fin in the back(which was an add on), the new body style, it has a great turning radius, the gas mileage is great and it was built by TOYOTA and they make a great car. The only thing people dont like is that the passenger seat doesnt have an arm rest and I dont like that the car doesnt have a sun roof but the rest of the car makes up for that. I will have this car for a very long time and I would recommend this to everyone!"

"I Love this car, Test drove and researched many...Great choice and value for the money...tons of space, peppy drive, comfortable drive ...22 mpg is accurate, Fun . Also the 2008 comes with "6" airbags and very roomy back sesat which is great for children. Lots off head room! Definately worth a test drive!!! Toyota designed this car. Drive & Buy...That is what made me buy this car."

"I had a BMW x3 i leased, so this is a completely different price point of car. It look some getting used to. Mine has about 1500 miles on it, so time will tell. I wanted a more affordable and sensible car and the scion fit the bill. The cargo area is amazing, so incredibly easy to get things in and out and it holds a really lot of stuff. I got basically all the options- alloy wheels, nav, leather (dealer option), sport steering wheel, etc. and wound up paying about 23,000$ It's got plenty of power, esp. for a 4 banger. It's really a fun car..handles well, styling is very progressive. Little bit noisy at higher highway speeds 65+. My leg hits the shift console too, that's kind of annoying but I got used to it. The driving position is very upright, you can't really slink down but that's good in terms of posture. For the price of the car, I really can't complain. IT's no BMW but it's not supposed to be. I test drove a zillion cars in the 20 K range and this was definitely head and shoulders above all else in terms of utility, gas milage, reliability (it's a toyota after all), and just a cool / different kind of car."

"This car feels much more expensive than it is. Very cool looks too! Would, however, like a second arm rest, sun roof and larger sun visors."

"We replaced a Ford Windstar with a Scion xB and found the rear seat folds down very easily, allowing us to use this car to carry lots of cargo (bring our son to college and take trash to the dump). The amount of room in the back seat is excellent, which is important for our tall teen-age children (6 foot or taller). This car could be classified as a wagon or mini-van."

"My first reaction when I saw the vehicle wasn't positive but a test drive changed all that. The standard transmission is smooth and fun to use. It gives the vehicle plenty of power. You get a very smooth, quiet ride and it corners almost like a sports car. Pros: price, comfort, cargo capacity, strong powerful 4 cylinder, fun to drive, quiet, stable at high speeds and emergency situations, standard traction/stability control, stereo quality, standard ipod and mp3 jacks Cons: no trunk or privacy lid, gauges are small and hard to read."

"I bought my scion xb last month and I love it. It has alot of room on the inside and I love the way they changed the body style. I was not a fan of any of the other models they look like toaster ovens. They changed the model for the best. The only thing that I would change is it's a little noisy on the freeway and has a few rattles. I have the teal color which everyone goes crazy for. My husband liked it so much he traded his toyota highlander for another xb (no not the same color he got the blackberry crush which is the second best color). I think this will be a great car for us for years to come. I would buy it again and again."
