"Great car. Lots of fun to drive. 5-speed manual has pleanty of pick up for back roads and highways. It handles like a dream, responsive steering, well balanced suspension, and good breaks. The exterior is nice and sporty without being too flashy. Where the wrx is a bit conspicous, the 2.5i flys under the radar. The interior design is clean and the instruments are easy to read without being too cluttered. Everything is in reach and in a practical location. The only drawback for me is the seat width. sometimes it feels as if the raised part of the bucket seats is digging into my thighs. It's good when cornering because it holds you in place, but on my long commute it gets a little uncomfortable. There's pleanty of headroom, and visibility is good. Overall a great car, with good value. especially considering that it's almost a sports car and it has AWD with traction control. Very safe, very reliable. Highly recommended."

""I have 3 supra's 680, 960 1372 hp. One Skyline 1250rw hp rb26dett. They blow the STI away. I would use the STI to pick up groceries. The seats are too hot and do not hug the person enough. The power on the turbo spool lags then kicks. Its more like a family car. The design is bulky on the wind. Its over prized. I can get a supra for $5000 and spend less making it faster. I returned my STI the first week!" .... McLovin?"

"originally bought the car after falling in love with the AWD system, but went with the cheapest version of the impreza. there's nothing cheap about this car though. it's a great value. as expected, the AWD has been a blessing the past three winters. the interior is so comfy and everything is well laid out. fun to drive, great power for a NA 2.5l. the AC cuts down on power more than i'd like, but it cools the car faster than most other ACs. only complaint would be wind noise on the highway from the side mirrors. i don't think i'll ever buy another non-subaru, i love this car so much. it has made my love commutes over the years much easier. highly recommended."

"I?ve been driving my WRX wagon for about nine months now and I?m more impressed with it every day. The overall road feel and driver interface is amazing. Steering is precise, and acceleration is exhilarating, even before the turbo kicks in. Previous versions of the WRX were plagued by a pronounced turbo lag and lame torque at lower RPMs, but the new 2.5L engine in the ?06 distributes power across a much wider band. It still jumps at 3500-4000 RPMs when the turbo kicks in, but it?s quicker off the line with a much smoother transition into the turbo burst, resulting in a more even, muscular acceleration. The AWD enables it to handle great on all surfaces and under all conditions. This car is not for everyone, but for those seeking an under $25k ride that provides thrilling performance, AWD capability and day to day practicality it would be tough to do better than the Impreza WRX wagon. Best features: Handling, acceleration, AWD, appearance, small wagon practicality. Suggested Improvements: Road noise, fuel economy, insurance cost, no iPod input, no sunroof available (except with Limited model)."

"I've had all type of cars from Saab 900, Honda CRX, Toyota Supra, Scion Xb, and I would have to say that the WRX is the most rewarding driver experience. Yes, it could be a little better when it comes to the fuel issue, but it's a small price to pay. I look forward to driving my car everyday. I can't wait till it snows to really see what she's all about. Haven't delt with any issues at all. Did alot of research to find the perfect WRX."

"I've owned two cars before this that were also good cars but this car is by far the best I've owned. The only problem with the car is that it's not roomy in the back. But the outstanding performance and handling kind of cancel that out. It's all wheel drive all the time and it awesome. I just laugh when I see people having car trouble in the winter while my car can easily plow through a mound of snow like it were a speed bump. Overall, this car is well worth the money, reliable, and just a blast to drive."

"2006 subaru impreza 2.5I Pros: The pros on this car are numerous the smooth driving symmetrical AWD system produces absolutely no torque steer when "hammering on the throttle, and also great road feel when the vehicle is turning on those tight city roads. The AWD system is also great in the snow, ice, and rain. The fuel economy on this car is fair, and lower than the others in its class but this is because it is all wheel drive, but still not that bad in the mid 20's. Cons: The main con is the throttle by wire system. It is overall functional, but takes a while to learn the driver, and a little too much delay if you have to assert yourself traffic. Overall: This is a great AWD drive car for under 20K I would recommend this car to anyone i know"

"I have the 06 WRX Lmt. Wagon. I thought that I had bought the best car ever, until the motor blew up. Less than 6000 miles and Subaru would not warrantee it. $3000 more came out of my pocket to pay for the damage. Car was in the shop for three months before I finally gave up on SOA (Subaru of America) and paid for it. Everyone that I talked to about the car was less than helpful and extremely rude to boot. Do not get it twisted when you are look at this car, it LOOKS nice but is mechanically flawed in more ways than one. Subarus are notorious for extremely bad timing belts and heads. My heads were messed up and they wouldn?t warrantee them, that is what makes a Subaru a Subaru!"
