"After extensive research, we concluded that the Legacy was the best value for our needs. Top priorities included comfort ( I am over 6 ft ), reliability, MPG, design, fun to drive. The Legacy met these needs, and the AWD is a plus. The CVT transmission is different, but I do like it after adjusting. We found a used 2.5i Limited with 29,000 miles, and have added 5,000 miles to it. The 4 cylinder matches well to the CVT. Driving to AZ, CO., average 33.5 MPG for 3,850 miles. Do try this car if you are looking for a nice sedan."

"I really love this car, the wind noise is minimal, and no leaks around the windows like my old chevy cavalier did. the roomier trunk is great for hauling wheel chair. and I didn't have to put the seats down. the only draw back is that the interior of the premium only comes in black. love my cloth headed and height adjustable seats. and the handling is great on wet roads haven't had snow yet to really get a great test of the awd."

"I have the 3.6R Premium. I bought the car because it was a good value for the money and Subaru is known for making a solid car that lasts a long time. Good things: Very comfortable seats, well-loaded, when I hit the accelerator hard, it has great pick-up, controls for phone, radio etc on steering wheel, excellent fit and finish. Disappointments: When I try to accelerate slowly and smoothly, the transmission whines. I hate the high pitch sound of the engine at slower speeds. A 3.6 liter 6-cylinder should have a deeper throttle sound, in my opinion. The suspension rattles and there are also rattling noises in the car that I haven't figured out yet. The horn is whimpy and sounds like it belongs on a subcompact."

"bought an 07 accord in Feb 11 after my 95 maxima died, the honda rode rough, sat too low and had too much wind noise so I sold it after 6 mo. bought a 09 sonata which had a noisy suspension and sold it after 3 mo. finally got it right the 3rd time with a 2010 subaru legacy 2.5i Premium trim -has 17k mi, paid 18K for it. rides great, sits up higher, not much road noise"

"I put on about 45,000 miles a year, I expect my Subarus to last at least 300,000 miles, my last one went 268,000 before the transmission started to make a loud gear noise, I cannot risk a breakdown so I had to buy a replacement early, bought a 2010 with 100,000 miles on it for $13,000 and expect it to make 300,000. I love Subarus"

"This is my 3rd Subaru. I always liked the AWD. Im getting about 34 mpg driving on the Interstate. I think thats great for and AWD Car. My only problem Ive had with my Limited has been with the stereo system. Sounds like the Disk is slowed down making a distortion sound. It does this from time to time, and the dealer is unable to duplicate. Love the heated leather seats. You can now buy replacement folding side mirrors for the 2010. Why they did not do that in first place when the 2009 model had them. Who knows."

"Moving from an Audi to Subaru for the AWD, took Lagacy up to Tahoe a few times and it performs in snow as well as my A4. It is a much bigger car, but drives smaller. It is quieter & larger than Impraza, so great for family with children. Due to AWD, the handling is so much better than the comparable sized Camry, Accord, Sonata. Considered and test drove the Outback, but cannot handle the ugly rear design & the softer (SUV-like) rides. The seats in Lagacy are some of the best in the class, really comfortable, lots of adjustment, so you can go on a long trip and still feel great. Fold down seats are great - overall well executed & practical car. Only 2 minor cons: 1. bluetooth not included in the Premium package; 2. some of the light interior color trim on the seats/doors can get dirty easily. Very reliable thus far (3 months)."

"Great car for the money. AWD is good on fair weather and snowy roads. Very good comfort with quality leather seats. Nice cabin space with good room in front seats and big back seat which comes in handy. Back seat folds down for cargo. Good trunk space. Controls are easy to use. Outside styling is really quite nice. Would definitely recommend this car to a friend. I've experienced very good reliability - I've had this car for 15 months and have 21K miles on it. Never had any reliability issues and have only been back to the dealership for regular scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotation."

"Drove this for 6 months and had to get rid of it. Worst car I have ever owned. Every weak a new interior rattle appeared. The exhaust smell on cold starts was nauseating. The so called premium stereo is a complete heap of junk. Even the sunglass holder is too small for standard sized sunglasses. Again, do not let the 'value' price for AWD fool you into buying this car!"
