"I've owned my 2.5 Premium since December and my love affair continues to blossom. I really don't understand why some complain about acceleration as mine hustles along quite well thank you and she will cruise at 80 mph all day long. I am from the mountains of Eastern Kentucky with lots of curves and steep inclines and where there are several places without guardrail if you venture off the roadway. My Subaru handled all the ice and snow this winter with ease. The seats are supportive and controls are easy to operate. I love this car."

"Now, I am going to start off by saying that I am 22 years old and this is my first brand new vehicle. So, obviously I do not have a vast level of experience with new cars, but let me tell you something, this is an incredible vehicle that brings (in my opinion) probably the most bang for your buck. Especially for a younger person like myself who is just getting started with work and saving money. I have a job that requires quite a bit of driving, and I also live in a North East state where there is quite a bit of snow. So I needed something that would be a great every day vehicle but could still handle tough weather. This was it. Not only does this car get awesome gas mileage, have an incredibly roomy interior and trunk, and a really sharp look to it, IT IS ALSO AWD. I've driven a Honda accord since I got my license and what I tell people is, this car is literally a honda accord with AWD. Its durable, reliable, safe, great gas mileage, holds its value well. All of the things people look for in an accord, plus that AWD. And it's SUBARU AWD, so about as good as it gets. Also, with the CVT engine, the ride in incredibly smooth. I got the base model, and it comes with a lot of nice things in it. Overall, I would say please, take a look at this vehicle. You will not be disappointed. I honestly can't believe that I do not see more of them on the road. So, to sum this up, the Legacy...gets great MPG, has a great style, drives so smooth with the CVT, lasts forever, holds its value as good as any car out there, has an incredible amount of space in the car as well as in the trunk, and AWD. What more needs to be said?"

"First Subaru ... 3.6limited... bottom line is that it is a great car ( we are skiers ).. it has things in it that you don't think about when you buy but love- fold down back seats, heated seats, decent (not great ) leather- lumbar support -- the 3.6 really makes it a performance car and the handling/interior size is like our BMW... Only short comings are delay on headlights after turning car off , and memory seats--3.6 clears 25mpg on road-- but down in 17-18 range around town- own 5 months 7000 miles"

"Beautiful car. Finally a stylish Subaru with the classic durability. This is my 4th Subaru and my favorite thus far. The good: Easy on the eyes, comfortable interior (the leather is excellent), stereo is dynamite, hands-free phone handier than expected (pun intended), excellent in ice, snow, slush and rain, huge trunk. The bad: My only disappointment is the road noise. Noticeable, but luckily the stereo drowns it out. I drive this car roughly 100 miles a day and enjoy every moment. The black exterior with the tan leather interior is gorgeous. I researched a number of vehicles as I always do, Hyundai Elantra, Honda Accord/Civic, Toyota Camry, Mazda 3. There may have been features of individual cars that I preferred over the Legacy, but as an overall package (safety, performance, design and fuel efficiency) there was no contest in my opinion."

"I have been very pleased with my Legacy in all ways after the first 2 mos. It is a comfortable and attractive car. I have the 6 cylinder with the Nav system, so I have great acceleration and know how to get where I am going. It is a roomy ride with smooth acceleration. The Nav system is complicated to master. The heated seats are a plus, but the heater apparently is so strong that my windshield cracked perhaps due to the change in temperature during a cold spell. Love the 4 wheel drive handling and extra features (backup camera, duel temp control, automatic lights, sat. radio option). So far so good!"

"i wanted an all wheel drive which is reliable and good on gas. i read some reviews and test drove some cars and i ended up buying a 2011 legacy 2.5i premium w/ all weather package and sunroof. so far, no rattles as what i read on the reviews. smooth suspension, roomy. i`m getting up to 30 miles to the gallon on the highway and around 22/city which is not bad for an all wheel drive. i still have to get used to the power and acceleration because i also own a 2008 eclipse GT..."

"We have had our LGT for about 3 months. It's been at the dealership for most of 4 weeks having front end work done to attempt to mask a vibration/steering problem. Unfortunately it only got worse. Subaru has been outstanding, The service dept. at the dealership has been equally outstanding. They care, it's as simple as that. Not all LGT's have this problem only a small number. I am lucky in that they are making this right by offering a refund or swap. I came from a Ford where while under warranty I could not even get them to fix a rattle in the exhaust & cracked dash. Love Subaru..."

"I am so surprized by this car and brand. All these years I ignored my Mom's Outback and now I see what she loved. The Legacy is way more car than it's priced at. I'd stack it against any high end car out there. The reliability alone beats most. Once you have driven it in the snow or hills you really feel the love. I've never witnessed a more loyal owner base. Low volume, quality manufacturer and personal touch at the dealership level, I like that. Thanks Subaru."

"Hands down best car I've ever driven/owned! The all wheel drive and handling is unbelievable and I will never go back anything but all wheel drive. I got the 3.6 R Limited choose not to spend the money on the Nav. Planning to install an after market DVD/CD Player possibly with Nav. This car is very roomy for my husband who's over 6 foot. I love Subaru as a company and this is my first Subaru and our family's 2nd after my husband bought a Forester 2010 I began looking at Legacy. You get so much for the money... luxury, all wheel drive. We've already convinced several people/friends to buy!"

Brand Destruction

"I want to like this vehicle, but I can't. Good engine, great interior, and idela seating. Fine at low speeds and on smooth surfaces, but front end vibrates, does not corner well, feels unbuttoned - even unsafe - all bumps in road transfer through the steering wheel and lots of road noise at highers speeds and less than smooth roads. Subaru knows there is a problem with three or so front end parts and they are shipping the replacement parts to dealers, but they are continuing the problematic production runs. Management should be fired before they destroy their brand. Risking their brand over some bushings is really stupid. Sounds like Toyota all over again. Buyers are at risk with this model."
