"Her name is Gretchen, and she is my 2000 Subaru Outback Sedan, Limited. She's also the first car I've had that is worthy of a name. Once you drive an Outback, you'll notice that they have a real personality and you'll want to name yours, too. Let's start with the interior. I've described it as "quietly luxurious and determined", which it is. The seats are comfortable (the seat heaters are incredible!), the driver's seat has adjustable lumbar support, and the quality of leather is top-notch. At first glance, the interior may imply a prissy, over-priced luxury sedan, but that's until you drive the car. Once inside, you find you fit perfectly into the well-designed cabin. Everything you need is within easy reach and is easy to use. You also gain the advantage of sitting in a higher position while driving, allowing better visibility. Don't let the interior fool you, this car is tough. I've driven it over countless mountains and through every kind of weather on the East Coast. Not only will Subaru's all wheel drive get you where you need to go, it will do it safely and quickly. When you drive this car, you feel like you're in a tank - it feels that solid. Luckily, the car handles very well and maintains a luxurious and sporty feel. It has a good amount of power, good acceleration, and can be very surprising to passengers who think that Subarus are frumpy cars. My car is used for commuting and averages approximately 27 mpg. Keep in mind this is with full-time all wheel drive. There's no need for a gas-guzzling SUV with cars like these on the market. Mechanically, I've never had a single problem with the car, and it has over 120,000 miles on it. I just keep up with basic maintenance and the car keeps going. All in all, this car is a winner. It's luxurious without being overindulgent. It's sporty without being arrogant. This car is everything you need, and then a few extra things to keep you happy. Definitely worth considering, I know I love mine!"

"My husband picked it out for me to take the girls golfing and fit everything in and give me a safe and sporty ride. Living in Aspen I needed an AWD vehicle that offered comfort, reliability, room, pickup when needed, great handling and BOY this car gives you that! I put the mt. bike on, skis, or toss in the golf clubs and hit the road and ride in style knowing I will not have any problems with my car. NEVER HAVE! All I do is change the oil and do the basics! I love it!"

"This is my second Legacy Outback. I can't find a better car on the road for a person that likes to golf, ski, mt. bike and take your friends and dog along as well. It has been in all sorts of terrain in the mts. as well as the desert and never given me doubt. I love the way it feels like a sports car in the way it hands and has great pick up when I need to us it. I think I surprise people in the way it has guts that you wouldn't think an SUV would have. The styling is supurb with all the leather! I have used the heated seats in winters and love that as well! It has been the perfect car for me from Aspen,CO to Tampa, FL where I bought this one, to the desert of CA where I am now. I haven't found a thing wrong with the vehicle!"
