"Have a 2007 Camry CE 5 speed manual tranny. I love the manual transmission. My biggest issue is that there is an engineering defect in the pistons that cause the engine to burn oil. Every 400 miles I have to add a quart! The issue is it did not start to become a problem until around 60,000 miles, long after the warranty expired. I can not believe that Toyota does not stand behind their cars!!!! I wanted this car to last hundreds of thousands of miles like the older Toyotas do. It was their design flaw but they will not fix it. Last Toyota for me!"

"Just traded in my 1998 Toyota Camry for a 2007 Camry. It is a nice upgrade. The 1998 Camry had 216,000 miles on it and it was time to change cars. I've had the 2007 Camry a little over a month and it rides so smooth. It has a lot of pickup for a 4 cylinder."

"Bought this car new and traded in my Honda Accord and it was the best move I ever made. I put over 90,00 miles on it and have not spent a dime on anything but routine maintenance. Great gas mileage, just as advertised. Buying a new model cause I can. It will be tough for me to ever buy anything else after owning Toyota."

Terrible

"Bought new in 07 a Camry with V6. Thought it was ugly when I bought it but was recovering from a Chevy that had been terrible so I opted for "legendary reliability". Got it home and the first night in the garage it left an oil spot on the floor. I took it to Toyota who said the crankcase was leaking. Took 3 days to repair and still didn't stop the leak. Next they told me that the transmission was leaking and 2 more days later I got my car and it had stopped. All repairs were covered under warranty. Other than the dodgy reliability the seats are too hard and the suspension is too soft the engine is gutless and I have had many people comment on the low rent interior. Eight months after I bought it I took it to Ford and traded it in on a Fusion AWD V6. The fusion looks better, and drives better as well as having a feel of quality about it. My Ford now has 205k miles on it and has only had to have one repair (Leaking transfer case gasket). Ford wanted $400 to repair it so I bought the gasket and rented out a garage for part of a day at $30/hour and did it myself. It took me 4 hours to do so I spent $130 plus my own labor. If you want my opinion run from Camry and buy a Ford."

"I have fibromyalgia and have really had a hard time finding a vehicle that didn't aggravate my symptoms. The 2007 Camry is wonderful! It really is comfortable and handles well. I was used to driving vans, and didn't think I would ever like a car, but this is really roomy and doesn't sit as low as some cars. I have absolutely nothing negative to say! It has been a blessing to own it."
