"I wanted a BASIC auto without all the new features. Most important was that it be stick shift - which I got. But I had to settle for the power steering, power door locks, and touch screen radio. Mileage is not as good as my 2000 Saturn (40 mph after 12 years, 278K miles) but a decent 33mpg during the Toyota's first 3000 miles. The engine is quiet, no road noise, and overall it provides a very comfortable ride. Handling is very good although I still would prefer no power steering."

"Car tight, clean, quiet, smooth, and great gas milage and color match-ups. Easy to clean. Reliable and dependable. However..........exterior mirror adjustments LOCATION is a joke. Seats are not comfortable. My wife has a 97 corolla and they are much more comfortable. Cup holders are now between the seats and that's not in an improved position over the 97 model which was in front of the shifter and more user friendly. Had to take the head rests off in the back seat to see out the rear window. Hard to see out of .....over all. Door arm rests are not restful. They are angled wrong so they are pretty useless and mirror controls should be on the armrests. Climate control knobs are almost flirting with cheapness and are not as easy to turn as my 02 Tacaoma knobs which gave you something to grab in order to turn them."

"great car over all because of dependability and reliability. just a few cons. one, the seats aren't quite as big as they should be, not much thigh support which causes a little less comfort. Then, the car is hard to see out of especially out the back. I had to remove the head rests in the back seat in order to see. Can't see the hood of the car at all unless I rare up which makes it hard to judge distance when parking. Arm rests on door are not comfortable. They are angled too much. The older designs were much better. sometime change is not good. and then finally the shifter stair step is not an improvement at all. i like the shifter in the older models much better. straight up and straight down. change isn't necessarily good."

"Best vehicle I have ever bought. Holds its resale value and will last a long time as long as you take good care of it. I would definitely recommend buying one. They may be a little pricy but it's worth it for sure. Would you rather spend more and be worry free or spend less and be in the shop non stop. This car isn't in the shop at all nor will it ever be. I have owned more than one toyota abduction no matter how old or how many miles they are still great and not too much work abduction visits to the shop."

"I had the best experience ever purchaseing my new Corolla. I've always dreaded the process of finding the right salesperson and price for any vechicle purchase... Rebecca Lashmit at Modern Toyota in Winston-Salem made a dreaded task a wonderful experience. I'm happy with my new Corolla, it is reliable, and gas friendly!"
