"I traded in my 2007 FJ Cruiser on a 2010 FJ Cruiser. I did this for several reasons, none involving a dislike of the 2007 FJ. I wanted a manual transmission, which my 2007 was not and I also wanted a different color for sentimental reasons (I had a tan FJ 40 Land Cruiser in high school). So I traded it in for a 2010 Trail Teams FJ, which is tan and has a manual transmission. I love the FJ, it is dependable, stylish, powerful, gets decent fuel economy ( I just drove to the Florida Gulf coast, New Orleans, and back to Indiana getting an average of 20mpg), it is solid, and has great safety ratings."

"I bought my 2007 FJ Cruiser 4x4 from a Toyota Dealer in Phoenix Az. It was a certified preowned vechicle with about 49k miles on it. After tons of research and test drives yet hesitant about buying foreign, it has been the best decision I have ever made with a vehicle. Where to begin? I think Toyota hit it out of the ball park with this, the first year (2007) they started making the FJ Cruiser! Zero problems so far! I have had this on some of the worst, rocky trails ever and it has done nothing but impress me and perform like a dream. Some people on quads were amazed that it got so far on the trail as their ATV's did. Back on the Highway, no creeks, rattles or any kind of loose interior or exterior sqeaks at all! Plenty of power, fuel economy is about 20 mpg. If your considering don't hesitate just join all the happy FJ Cruiser family members."

"I've been wanting an FJ ever since they were first introduced to the market. Finally, I can say that I now own one of these vehicles. I love the look, power, the smoothness of the six speed manual, the full time 4x4, and the utilitarian nature of the interior. The day I drove it home from the dealer, I ended up in a heavy snowstorm, and the vehicle just simply shrugged off the rapidly deteriorating road conditions. I find the on road manners to be far better than the auto rags claim, and am planning some of my first off road excursions for this vehicle this summer. If I must find things to fault, it would be the location of the power outlet for the inverter. I had to run an extension cord from the back to provide power to charge my camcorder and cell phone batteries. Locating one up front would be much more useful than in the back of the cargo bay."

Wisest Choice I Made In Buying A Vehicle

"In my search for buying a used SUV I had came down to 2 choices, after purchasing my FJ Cruiser I know I made the right choice. The vehicle is wide enough to fit big people comfortably, plus all the different type of seat adjustments for long rides the seat goes back quite a distance for long legged people also. The radio has controls on the steering wheel, 4 wheel drive features for off road and the highway in a arms reach. three wipers for total visability. drives very quiet the steering handles so smooth, bumpy rides are a thing of the past. Blind spots due to the small windows in the rear, my experience is if you use the mirrors provided and have them adjusted correctly, its not bad. I have no negative things to say about the vehicle. Im hooked"

"This truck is amazing-it is so comfortable and easy to drive. My 2 dogs can jump in the back and have plenty of room with the 2 back seats down. I drove home from work in the middle of Hurricane Irene and I did not have any difficulty. The 3 windshield wipers really keep the visibility up during heavy rain."
