Consumer Reviews
"After owning two Land Cruisers, a 98 and a 99 ( We still have the 99) I was trying to find an 06 or 07 Land Cruiser. I simply could not believe what prices the low mileage example were fetching. Rather than by a 5 year old SUV for 50K I surprised my wife with a new 2011 Land Cruiser in Galactic Gray. The truck is beautiful. What we like about the LC is that it's understated. No one knows or needs to know it's a $75K truck. We got the technology package and the extended Warranty to 75,000 miles. This being our third Land Cruiser they have always been ultra reliable. What we dont like: The ride is very stiff, especially in the rear. Fake wood dash, rattling rear seats. Poor fuel mileage. What we like: Loads of power. Ability to tow my 7,000 boat without a worry. Nav, audio and phone are awesome. Kids like the fold down rear entertainment unit. New transmission is a big improvement over past. Overall we love the new Land Cruiser and have no regrets."

"This is a go anywhere, do anything vehicle but rides like a luxury sedan. Very quiet, comfortable, with power to spare. Can tow anything. Interior is understated and elegant. Mileage is as advertised, 13 city 18 hwy which is as good or better than previous models. Have seen reviews where people complain about MPG. Not sure what they expected but if you have a heavy foot it will show. Toyota nav leaves something to be desired. If you plan to own, this is a good long term bet given expected reliability and resale vs. other competitors."

"This truck does everything you ask it to without breaking a sweat. You feel as secure as being inside a bank vault. I should have bought one of these a long time ago."

"After the trip to Dubai and went on the Desert rally I was blown and sold to the Land Cruiser, check out Youtube. Hummer H2 is a big waste of your money, the only thing that is on par with this is a Range Rover. Best SUV for offroading or taking long trips. The Australians are not dumb to trust this SUV to cross their outback?s. American SUV?s are good on roads and after 50K miles they are worthless, except you can be proud of the feeling that you supported the worthless GM, Ford and Others. Toyota is the best, look what the Tundra did to the poor old GM, Chevy and Ford trucks. Just test drive and make your own unbiased judgment. I love it and will not part for any other SUV except for a newer Land Cruiser or a Range Rover."

"Great SUV in every respect ... Except gas milage. Considered the Lexus LX ... Drove it but just not worth the extra $$. Lexus drives a little softer and steers slightly lighter ... that's it, plus the minor cosmetic upgrades. The Cruiser handles very well at speed, for a vehicle this size. The big V-8 does go... Build quality is solid, as it's known for ... Btw I had the dealer take out the 3rd row seat ... We did not need it .... Way more cargo room now ... All in all "The Bruiser" is a great vehicle ..."
