"For what I needed in this car, it's everything expected. My gas bill on my toyota truck was $300 to $350 a month. Now I'm driving more miles per month and my gas bill has averaged $50.00 for almost 10 months. I have 3 boys all in sports, no problem with their sports gear, and if we forget something I'm not made about going back home to get it. Wish it had 12 to 15 gallon gas tank though, other than that the Prius has been a blessing in the pocketbook."

"Cars fill a different role for everyone. Some want speed, some want size, some want attention. What I wanted, great mpg, reliability and a low car payment on a new car. Best MPG for a none plug in. Toyota's reputation for reliability is bar none. Most affordable in its class. What it lacks, looks are average and it has no guts as far as the engine is concerned (I live in So Cal, if I'm traveling 65 that means there's no traffic and ecstatic). Surprises, the radio set up is awesome. Connects right to my phone for calls and music. A cool display with interesting features. I love this car!"

"Really appreciate the cost effectivness for gasoline of my Prius. It is eco friendly. It is comfortable, easy to drive, quiet. It holds up to the quality of my previous Toyotas. For a 4 cyl car, it has the pick up speed that I need. Wish it had a bit more trunk space but for my needs it will do. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality built mid/small size car."

"V happy owner bought as near-new demo. Car feels and looks to be well constructed. Firm but comfortable ride and excellent cruise control. Sensational economy - I drive with economy in mind but will still accelerate hard when required. Getting 75+ mpg in mixed urban and 60+mpg with mainly highway travel (note - these are Australian/Brit gallons, so slightly bigger than US gallons). Engine can be noisy and thrashy under peak power, but generally unobtrusive. Quite hard to qauge front of car when parking - lucky the front is so short! Reversing camera v useful. Provided you drive to get the best from the technology it is v rewarding and nice to know you're not guzzling precious fuel. Careful of pedestrians when you are driving at low speed (esp carparks) as lack of noise makes car 'invisible' to them."

"This is a fun little car with a surprising amount of pep for a hybrid. My main complaint is the glare on the GPS unit which makes it tough to read on sunny days. No small issue in so Cal!"

"I bought this car without driving it. I researched for 3 months. OMG I can't say enough. I am adveraging in the city 64.5mpg. I am 61 yrs old. Drive to work and back. I took it on a road trip and she was smooth as ice. cornered like a sports car. I haven't listened to the radio in years...Now, with my flash drive with 300 songs I drive, listen, jam like I am 20 again. I love this car. I am small so I chose the C because the standard prius was too big. Now, downside, going up hills, not much punch but it does a great job just not as fast as I would like. BUT, then not many people get 60+ mpg either. The interior is great, navigation is great, bluetooth, and more. If I had it to do over, I would go with the Pricus C lV. and get the solar roof. Budget did not allow. I'll give it a big A+. You won't be sorry. Mine is making it's payment. I got extras from Toyota and will not have to do anything but drive for 8 years, Yes nothing but drive, Toyota does the rest...SEE for yourself go test dribe the C and the standard..."

"This is a very differant car to drive it makes you very aware of the energy you use. It has ample room and is quiet inside. when you put it into cruise control it stays right on the setting even when you go up a hill. Lots of extras are available on this model. a good value for the money. This car will pay for it self during it's lifetime."

Best Hybrid Ever!

"Have driven over 2400 miles in this fun, sporty hybrid and love it! Averaging 51 mpg highway and 49.8 in the city. So, it is not only a great city car but a commuter as well. At gas prices, this can't be beat. The C is wonderful for a single person, couple, or couple with one or two children. If you have a large family I'd take a look at the Prius V Wagon. The c has good acceleration and you will easily reach 70-75 to get onto freeway traffic. It is slightly noisier at those highway speeds but turn on the satellite radio and enjoy the music and wireless technology, voice activated phone calls through bluetooth, and the fantastic softex feel of the seats (4 model). This car automatically goes into ev (electric mode) at lower speeds and when waiting at the drive-thru windows which saves you gas, gas, and more gas. Bottom line, fun car to drive, comes in stimulating color combinations, and sporty interior/exterior works for those not wanting to make a big deal about driving a hybrid car. The very best is filling up that tank and driving forever on it! Wow! I'm impressed. Go ahead and crank up those gas prices, no problem."
