Consumer Reviews
"I researched for about a month and finally ended up going with the Prius c three. I actually bought this one listed on this page. I got a great deal on it and on my first trip to work i got 58 mpg's. My Previous vehicle was a Toyota Tundra getting a whopping 16mpg. I have only had this car for 3 days but i am amazed. The look of the Prius c is much better than the plain prius. It has the bells and whistles that i wanted (Bluetooth, Navigation, Climate Control, Sunroof, Cruise, great 6 speaker stereo and Smart phone apps built into the car.) Although i do miss the power and hauling capability of my truck, with gas prices being $4+ a gallon, i don't think i could ever go back. It was a no brainer for me. The amount of money I am saving pays for the car itself. Basically, i am driving a new car and paying for it with the gas money that i would have spent on my truck. I love this car. I find myself driving like a grandma trying to get the most mpg's i can out of it. the most i have got in 3 days is 64 mpg's. Shut up! Really? Yeah buddy!"

"This car is excellent if reviewed in only one category: fuel economy. When you compare it in ANY other category, to ANY other car, it falls WAY short. I normally ride a motorcycle during the warm months to save on gas...but even compared to the motorcycle, a Prius is only more comfortable during rain storms. The car is too small, too uncomfortable, and way too under-powered (in fact, calling this car under-powered is an insult to under-powered cars everywhere!), and forget about warm heat in the winter: remember that a hybrid engine only runs some of the time, so you only get heat some of the time."

"It does exactly what you'd expect from a hybrid, but offers subtle luxuries with package upgrades. For those seeking a joyride, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a way to save money, natural resources, and turn a few heads, check out this car. All my guy friends love discovering how it works, my girlfriends say it's adorable, and my boyfriend prefers driving it to work, when I don't need it (he drives a Dodge truck). All I know is every time someone rolls down his/her window to ask me how I like my Prius, I tell them it's the best car I've ever had. I love this little bugger."

"Start with a requirement of 50+ MPG, add inexpensive, then require Toyota quality. Not much else left to be said. Driving a Prius is a different kind of challenge but one that does add some thought into the driving experience. I drive it differently than I have driven any other car, but I am rewarded with that 50+ MPG. Takes a while to get used to being passed on the start off acceleration. On the plus side it delivers what it promised on MPG. On the down side, the seats are a little rough and the AC is underpowered. AC can be on at rest though and it doesnt turn on the engine."

"In March of 2013, I paid $18,300 (including tax, tag, title, and destination fee) for a new 2012 Prius-c. It is a superb car. It gets well over 50 MPH (higher in the city - as much as 65-75 MPH depending on driving conditions). It has ample pick-up when needed and has plenty of room in the front (I am 6'2"). Love this car. Perfect for commuting and city driving."

"Bought Prius C II two weeks ago. Car is well thought out and a real value for the money. We bought a basic model because we are low tech folks, post 65. Wanted great mileage, which we are getting and hope to enjoy Toyota reliability."

"I have almost doubled my mpg with this car!! The price per mpg was deciding factor. This car is not as peppy as others, but it is an econo-box, hybrid, etc. It is a little noisy, but again, it's a small car. I commute over 40 miles one way with about half of the miles on the interstate. Not afraid to drive with the trucks on the road, it's the other fools like me that I have to watch out for. I just hit the 1000 mile mark after two weeks and 6 days and I still have alot to figure out in this new car. I love the interior and do like the exterior, but it is different being a hybrid. I cannot say much about reliability, no experience with Toyota cars until now."

"Back windshield wiper should have been centered more to wipe ENTIRE window. It also does NOT go to the bottom of the window. Placement of Toyota emblem stops wiper from being centered as it should have been. Right rear view is difficult from driver seat as the car's design prevents it. Window should have been wider to enable view. As a Techie I feel the Tech design could have been easier to navigate."

"really enjoy this vehicle after two weeks of ownership...following my driving habits as a "grandpa" i had to fill up for the first time this past w/e(500 miles of driving)...cost me 30.00, 8.77 gallons...57 plus or minus for various hwy/city/country driving...beats filling up a silverado 1500 4x2 about twice(work truck, you know)"
