  • Love this car!

Love my Prius. At first I thought it was ugly, but having owned it for so long, I love it! Get 52 miles to the gallon, but then I don't speed. I drive between 27-29 mph. in town, avoid freeways if I can to keep the mileage high. IU have only replaced the tires and the battery a couple of times. The car starts beautifully, responds well when driven. Is in good shape outside, except for a small "ding"on the bottom of the driver's side where I hit a curb.

  • Awesome car 1197 kilometers weekly 55to63mpg .

Awesome car cheap to run love it. And they can go fast when you know how to drive them. Pass cars on a steep hill on my way home sitting 115/120+ very upsetting getting passed by a Prius lol

  • Great car! Great mileage. Reliable!

Comfortable seating. Decent roominess. Lacks a little power on acceleration but worth sacrifice with great mileage. Good stopping, decent handling. Exactly what we expected. Reliable and expecting to get many more miles on it.

  • Bullitt proof

Bought a 2005 in 2012 with 180k miles. Car was still reliable and performed very well. Economical to own and should provide good transportation for its new owner. The Gen 2 Prius is just rock solid.

  • An efficient car, but still burns fossil fuels

Don't get the 2005 unless you're ok not having an aux input jack for audio. That's my main complaint about this car, and that's a good thing. It's pretty fuel efficient, ranging from 4.9 l/100km in winter to 4.3 l/100km in summer, depending on tire pressure and how you drive it. It doesn't go 100% into metric, the odometer and temperature gauge will always be stuck in outdated US customary units. Toyota might have fixed this in newer models. The roof is also easy to dent if you sit on it a lot, watch out for that. With snow tires, it does fine in the snow, but if it does get stuck, it's annoying because it keeps switching drive wheels and you can't turn that feature off. Overall my second favorite car, behind the Nissan Leaf.
