We laugh at SUV's

"My wife and I are on our 2nd Toyota Sienna Limited. We love to laugh at large SUv's (mainly Tahoe's and the like) as the kids (if they fit) are jammed in the back seat. It's also funny to see all of their stuff in the roof top carrier or on a hitch mounted device. The Sienna will swallow 7 people in Lexus like comfort and everyone's stuff will still fit behind a reclined 3rd row seat. It will do all of this while getting 20 mpg. If you have a family of 4 or more and you don't look at a Luxury Minivan like the Sienna Limited you are doing yourself a diservice."

"It's a mini-van. If you don't' like them, nothing I write will convince you. But value for the money is hard to beat. Cheaper to buy than SUV's, better gas mileage than any large SUV. More space than any large SUV. and has higher resale value than any large SUV. Why would you ever buy a large SUV (suburban or expedition)? It handles SLIGHTLY better than a suburban, but no where near a Ferrari. It's a darn van folks."

"We purchased this van over the phone and through email. We've owned 6 Toyota pickup trucks, 2 sedans and now 3 Sienna's. We have no doubt that it will reach the minimum 200,000 mile expectation we have for all of the Toyotas we've owned. Great cars and trucks! We farm and if we could find Toyota farm tractors, that is what we would buy. We really like the drivers seat adjustments that fit the seat to your body, not forcing you to fit your body to the seat. We live in a very cold part of the country and I have yet to have any of my Toyotas fail to start."

"We bought the limited model with everything but the AWD, and I am amazed at the ride quality, it's Lexus smooth! ( we own a Lexus LS 430) and honestly is almost as enjoyable. The price kind of questioned me, $50K for a minivan? But it's worth it"

"Traded in the Town & Country for a Sienna, and wasn't expecting much difference. I was totally wrong! The Sienna is solidly built, and the interior details are nothing short of excellent. Within 2 weeks of buying the Sienna, I took it on a summer road trip with the family, and it performed flawlessly over the 3000 miles we covered. Very comfortable, and plenty of power for the passing lane."

"Great vehicle with all kinds of toys (Limited) makes getting around with the kids as effortless as possible. AWD very is stable in ice and snow and is making us wonder why we fought the minivan move for so long. Much more room than our Grand Cherokee before and nearly as much as our Expedition. My wife and I aree that this is a great family vehicle."

2011 Toyota Sienna XLE

"We purchased our Toyota Sienna XLE used about two months ago. We have fallen in love with it!! We purchased ours (a pacific pearl blue with 9,000 miles) and love it. It is spacious and great for carting around kids and luggage. We have gone on a few road trips and it is smooth and comfortable. We enjoy watch movies on the split-screen dvd player. Cons: It does have some road noise, if you are used to a little bit of road noise, you won't have a problem. We have a back up camera and from previous SUV's it is hard to adjust to using a back-up camera instead of back-up radar. There is quite a bit of plastic in the front dashboard area. I wouldn't necessarily say it looks cheap though. Pros: The storage is amazing! All the cup holders and storage cubbies here and there are amazing! Drives smooth on the road and is comfortable for long car trips. We love our sienna and do plan on keeping it until it reaches around 100,000 miles. We did get extended warranty till 125,000 and have not had a single problem yet. Great family car, LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!"
