"We just bought our 2010 AWD with the 2.7 liter Inline 4 cylinder engine. So far we love the car. Tons of room, it handles well and the 4 cylinder has a surprising amount of torque down low. In my opinion, it is more than adequate for everyday driving. We test drove both the 4 cyl and 6cyl before buying and found the 4 cyl surprisingly capable. This car has exceeded our expectations in the short time we have had it. Let's see how it holds up over 10-15 years. I traded in my 96' Honda Accord wagon with 207,000 miles. It still ran excellent. Negatives... On very sunny days, it is hard to see digital read out on the radio. Also, I priced out the tires for the 19" wheels of the 4 cyl and they are near $200/each. The salesman said they only last 25,000 miles because they have softer compound. I hope they last longer than that! I may be able to live with that though... We are very pleased with how this car has performed. When a two ton car with AWD gets 25-28 MPG average, that helps..."

"My wife and I looked at the Venza as an alternative to the Rav4, Honda CRV and minivans for our family of 3 soon to be 4. We were impressed with the Venza's looks, cargo capacity and more car like drive as compared to other vehicles in this class. The headroom and height of this car facilitates placing kids into car seats. Options included in the base model were impressive and could be confused with a luxury vehicle. We have owned the Venza for a month now and couldn't be happier."

"the only thing that I don;t like about venza is the windows controls of the door are to down so takes time to get used to it, the same problem when you want to drive with your elbow on the door."

"THE FIRST TIME I SAW THIS CAR, I FELT IN LOVE WITH ITS INTERIOR.BUT WHEN I ROAD TESTED IT,I KNEW TOYODA HAD SOMETHING SPECIAL HERE.I FINALLY MADE THE MOVE.I BOUGHT THE CAR AND TWO DAYS LATER WE HAD A MAJOR BLIZZARD.TWELVE INCHES OF SNOW AND I WAS CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF IT.THREE WEEKS LATER WE HAVE MAJOR RAIN FALLS.IT RAINED FOR THREE DAYS STRAIGHT.DUE TO THE NATURE OF MY JOB I HAD TO GO TO WORK.TO MY AMASE,I' VE NEVER DRIVEN A VEHICLE THAT HAS HANDLED THESE CIRCUMSTANCES SO WELL. "Bought this brand new, fell in love with the styling right away. Gripes first, wind noise some road noise and ride quality on pot holed roads. now on to the praise, seating both front and rear is fantastic lots of room and very comfy, I have leather and heated seats which is a must for cold country, visibility all around is excellent, and the optional back up camera is very helpful. v-6 mated to the 6 speed is a blast with no lack of power even with a car full of people and luggage. entry and exit to the vehicle is very easy,even for my 5' wife. Stability and handling are scary good and does not feel at all like the large vehicle that it is. Interior space is incredible and surpasses most in this class.For a new first year out vehicle I have to admitt Toyota did a great job. Fix the few niggles and they will have something that will be hard to surpass in this price range."

"I have owned my Venza now for just over 2 months. So far, I have little to complain about. I compared this to many all others in it'a class and feel i got a Lexus at a bargin price. Great perforance at the cost of around town gas milage(V6 AWD) Now that the engin has broke in, milage has improved by 2 MPG on average Worst is 17 best is 28MPG's The car is loaded with goodies. Dule Moon Roof is a nice wow factor. Best sound sytem I have ever owned, period The seats could be more supportive for cornering,like on exit ramps. The Venza can take corners better than the seats will hold you. The drivers side coin storage area and the overhead consol for the Moon Roof and garage door controls need to have lighting just like all the other compartments and controls. That is the extent of my gripes. Acceleration is a Hoot! Kill the traction control, sift to sport mode and select 1st gear. Apply the break bring the rev's up just a bit and bunch the gas and release the break. Hold on and watch the Marono's, the Edge's and all but the BMW's are now behind you! The guy in them X5 will be wonering what he paid for. I bought the Venza so I had a respectible car for taking accounts out, in and I receive many compliments. I average about 125 miles per day and I do not regret buying the Venza. Very comfortable other than some bot hole jaring(20 inch wheels)and the seats needing better side bolstering, the ride is great(4 out 5 stars)I am able to fit 4 Golf Bags and 3 6 foot plus guy's in and they can't shut up about the comfort and the capacity. Reclining back seats help keep the kids settled down and comfy. The climate control and rear seat venting is excelent as well. If you are looking for a car in this class and can live with the gas milage, go drive your best deal now before sales pick up and the secret gets out."
