"This is my second Venza. It has all the comfort one could hope for. Very powerful, 4 or 6 cylinder, engines. Room is unbelievable for a vehicle this size. It doesn't look big, but there is room for 4 large adults to sit comfortably. Cargo area is large enough to hold 4 golf bags, shoes and whatever else you want to take to the course. Fold down the back seats and you can haul about 50 bags of mulch. Sits at just the right height. Very easy to get into, or out of. My first Venza got about 20 MPG, but I drove it like a race car. Driving sensibly on the highway, I could get almost 30. That was the V6, with cruise and AC on."

"I have only had the Venza for a few weeks but have spent most of that commuting back and forth on the highway. It is a total cruiser. Rides nicely. The seats are comfortable. There is a little bit of a learning curve with the technology. I am still trying to figure out some things on the radio. My Smartphone downloaded immediately but for some reason it took a day or two for my contacts to come across. Everything is working smoothly now. We got the Limited AWD in Blizzard Pearl with the Ivory interior and it is beautiful This car has a lot of features you would see on a car that costs much, much more. We previously owned a Mazda Tribute and didn't want to get anything much bigger but wanted the V6 power and cargo space.We drove about everything in this class, including the Lexus RX350 and Highlander, and decided on this one.This car has the same V6 as both of those andit is really peppy. With the seats folded down it has as much, or more, cargo room as the Mazda. Nice car and I would highly recommend it!"

"Like so many weak men, I succumbed to a great looking body only to learn the age old lesson; that all too often, beauty is only skin deep. I love the look and concept of the Venza. I thought I had found an affordable, reliable alternative to a Porsche Cayenne. Wrong... The fundamental issue is that Toyota has done nothing to refine the car since first introduced four years ago. The ride is harsh, mpg is poor, fit and finish especially on the dash is embarrassingly bad even for a car at half its price. Center console looks better, a faux carbon fiber look but it too starts looking and feeling fairly cheesy in a short while. (As a comparison check the fit and finish of the dashes and all features for that matter in a comparably priced Jeep Cherokee or a VW Passat for thousands less) Newly added features like memory seats may be ok if i could find one position in which I'm comfortable. The power seat lack sufficient travel down and back. I feel like I'm sitting at my kids grammar school desk at parent teacher night. The power seat on the passenger side is only four way; unacceptable in a car that pushes the $40K level.Wind noise is bad; I keep checking windows to make sure they're closed. The back up camera clouds and blurs easily as it's in the path of runoff from the tailgate and there are no sensors. Entune system will not work with At&T Blackberry because you cannot access the Entune App. The standard radio is pretty mediocre. The only added feature that I use is the remote start which I had to have installed at the dealer. It works fine but most cars in this price range now have it built in to the fob. The Venza is fairly quick and decent to drive?on smooth roads. It does not like bumps. On rough pavement, even expansion joints, Venza's ride is harsh, jumpy, almost jarring. Some pluses: As bad as the fit and finish on the dash is, the sheet metal is very well done; tight consistent seams and doors that close with the satisfying whump; probably my favorite feature. The heated seats work well. And I like the setup for cruise control; intuitive and easy to use. I would expect reliability to be very good but I don't plan to have the car long enough for it to be an issue. The sense I get is that Toyota designed and built a car 4 years ago that had potential but needed refining. Rather than fix the flaws they started tacking on extra features and a price tag that are typically found on higher end cars Despite its good looks and features, Venza has feel and soul of a dated midpriced family sedan. a fact that no amount of added bells and whistles will change. I've got 33 months left on my lease but who's counting..."

"I am very happy with my new 2013 Toyota Venza Limited. Great power and braking. Love the standard features on the Limited model. We are ready to take on the winter snow with the all wheel drive. The sound system is awesome. This is one great car that we plan to drive for years."

"I like this car in every way, especially on smooth roadways. BUT, the shock absorbers need help. The ride is so bumpy and uncomfortable on a less than smooth road that it makes me want to get rid of it."

"After 2 weeks of driving i am amazed how this vehicle drives. The 6 cyl has power. Shes fast. The exterior is just beautiful. The interior with the black leather with white stitching really is nice. No complaints so far . Did i say shes fast. Yup"

"I own the Venza for 2 years now. I have 41K miles on it. In general, I'm very pleased with car. It has a lot of internal room, it's comfortable (not like a big SUV but handles much better). The handling is nice too. Before buying it (in 2010) I drove, the Rav-4, the Patriot, Outlander, Tucson, CX-7, Santa Fe, Equinox and CR-V. When considering Style and handling I went with the Venza. Although a little more expensive It was worthy. I get 27 MPG on the road driving at 70-75 mph, using regular gas. I think that's pretty good considering the size of the car. Things I dont like: The bluetooth is somehow ackward and loses the signal sometimes. It's not very powerful (the 4 cyls). The engine is a little noisy, but it's like all 4 cyls. Not as quiet as a 6 or 8 cyls."

"i would definitely rec the 6cyl over the 4 as 4 is loud and strains a bit over 65 and going up hills, shifting continuously...seems to have elevated road noise...mileage for 4 has never been 26 on highway...22-23.5 is best i have noted at 1600 miles..handles well and very roomy"

"This crossover is more luxury than not. You pay more but get lots more. The larger 20" wheels look very nice ride a bit harder but fine. Lots of power in the V6. I have the limited edition which I enjoy very much. It seems the gas mileage on highway is higher than reported with in town mileage somewhat lower. Overall very pleased."

"The Venza is just what I wanted. Lots of interior room, easy to get in and out of it, comfortable and quiet. Only two minor issues: 1. There are almost 900 pages of Owner's Manual in three volumes, and it takes a long time to locate the instructions for simple things like changing the orientation and volume of the navigation system. 2. There is little feel of the road through the steering wheel. I'm susre I will get through these minor irritations as I drive it more. So far, fewer than 1000 miles."
