"I have owned a 2008 Eos for over 2 yrs. now. There has only been one issue that VW acknowledges and will be doing a free fix for. The car is comfortable and extremely fun to drive. Has great pep and always gets stares. 2 adults can sit in the back comfortably and the roof has worked flawlessly thus far. I would buy the car again and certainly recommend it."

"Traded a SC430 for the EOS Lux. The EOS is just as much fun as the SC430 with a $30K smaller price tag. The EOS back seat will accomadate two adults where the SC 430 back seat is good only for pets or packages. Do yourself a favor and buy the EOS and put the money you save in the bank."

"this car is really fun to drive. It can be exciting to feel the wind in your hair and nip along the road.Had minor problems with the roof catching when putting it down but this was easily sorted by dealer.I looked at otherl hard tops but they were way more expensive.I also love the one button conversion from roof up to roof down. My friend liked my car so much she bought one."

"Just approaching the 8,000 mile make, and my thunder blue EOS with cream leather interior remains a pleasure. So far, not a problem. The car is the perfect hardtop coupe with a gigantic sunroof...and when the top disappears in the trunk, it's pure fun convertible. I've read some gripes about small rear passenger space, but some of my larger friends have enjoyed 2 hour rides with no complaints. Even with the top in the trunk, I'm able to squeeze in 2 sand chairs, an umbrella, beach towels, a padded bumper guard for my garage, a bag of cleaning aids and a baseball cap. I'm starting to see more EOSs on the road---but not too many--and that keeps my car special."

"Bought my eos in May 2007 and put 15000 mi's on it so far. Fun car to drive! Not a winter car. Handles ok, but top is very noisy in cold weather. Drivers side window is acting up. Window drops when car is unlocked but does not always go back up after entering car. Sometimes stays dropped after locking car. Hope its minor. This is my 5th VW. Love the brand!"

"I traded in my 2003 Passat 6 cy. while on vacation in california, and waht a great decision it was. I really loved my passat, but this car is so much fun to drive. I have the 2.0 turbo automatic, and let me just say, this car can get up and go! I have actually churpped my tires while passing another car!. Since I live in the desert, the convertable top gets put down almost every day so far, and I have owned my EOS since June. My gas milege is better than rated. I run at 25.5 city all the time, and 32 on the highway. I have owned many Volkswagens in my years of driving, and this is right up there with the favorites! GREAT JOB VOLKSWAGEN!"

"Just leased a new Eos. Its my first convertible and I'm impressed by several things: the flexibility of having either a normal car or a convertible, the great handling and performance (my previous car was an SUV). Of course, the good gas mileage is nice. There are lots of gadgets, I don't need those...wish I did not pay for them."

"The Eos is a fun car to own and to drive. I love the ease of transforming the hard top into a convertible by pushing one button. It works flawlessly and people just stop and gawk as it retracts into the trunk. With the top up you have a very spacious and comfortable coupe that is quiet and well appointed. The mpg seems to be close to what is advertised and the extra few dollars that premium gas costs is worth paying for the great performance that it provides. I would recommend this car to anyone."

"When preparing for my latest purchase I was so inspired by the VW sports car. The power and quickness is good but after driving this vehicle for a couple thousand miles I noticed more road noise little plastic pieces in the interior that were making "Rattling" noises. The car goes through alot of oil. I suggest using Mobile 1 Synthetic oil. Be careful if your window motor goes bad expect to be spending around $500 for the window motor."
