Only a handful of minivans saw a sales increase during 2001, and Volkswagen’s EuroVan was one of them. In fact, sales jumped by 106 percent, according to Automotive News. But because the 2000 total included only 2,714 units, an increase to 5,600 last year isn’t quite as dramatic as the percentage sounds. Volkswagen has stated the potential of selling 10,000 EuroVans yearly.
