The Volkswagen Golf is available as a four-door hatchback for the 2014 model year; a redesigned version of the car is on its way. Power comes from a gas or diesel engine, and the five-seat Golf competes with the Mazda3 hatchback, Hyundai Elantra GT and Mini Cooper. Volkswagen's performance-oriented GTI is related to the Golf.
