"i wish i had a brand new 1992 gti! the seating position is absolutly great and handling is very good. gas mileage is great,the 16 valve motor is very zippy and racy and its such a fun car to drive. you can pick them up cheap now so if your looking for a car to get around in, go to work, drive in snow conditions, for the money, i would say buy this car. its an icon and its one of the early fun cars to drive. its a very spirited car in 16 valve form and if your into the after market/import scene, this car is just classic. i'm on my second 16 valve gti and i just cant imagine never owning one as my primary vehicle. i love it's early german looks, zippy speed, and egar handling. it's really a sports car and it's vw second home run in the automotive industry. if you can find one that has not been hot rodded and is in good to great shape, pick it up, or tell me about it so i can buy it!lol! i still get looks from those who love this cult classic or are just car fans."
