"I use to own a gas gusling Lincoln Navigator. Now Im free!!!! Free indeed!!! I love my Jetta. Its stylish and doesn't kill me at the gas pump. Im going to keep this car for a very long time. Thanks to the friendly folks over at Jim Butler Auto Plaza I got a great deal!!!"

"I love my manual diesel Jetta! I was putting too many miles on my Honda Van running our 4 kids around after work and school. We bought the Jetta as a third car just to put miles on. My husband and I fight over who gets to drive it. It has gotten 38mpg on the first 3 tanks. Not quite as good as I thought but beats the van and is more comfortable and fun to drive. It is on an Audi frame and handles like a sports car. It is a little small with one car seat and three kids in the back. They never complain it is not comfortable. We'll probably trade for a VW Pasat next year just to give them more room."

"I found a great used SEL with only 5000 miles and had to take a look. I love driving it and the MPG is amazing. I get on average 32 MPG. The nav is easy to use and well organized. I down graded from a 2006 Mercedes ML because of gas mileage and I don't regret it!!"

"The car is sleek, resembles an Audi, as VW seeks to eliminate the effeminate stereotypes of the Jetta. Also, I love the return of the German body-style.The drivability is amazing! My only wish is VW would have included more info on the tiptronic shifting."

"I like the VW 36000 mile coverage on all basic work It rides extremely well. Electrical is a bit dodgie... especially the connection to iphones and ipods Like the milage of the TDI."

"This is our 3rd VW and I'm sad to report that it will be our last unless they bring back the good quality that we've come to expect from their brand. We have had 2 Passats and I've had MANY friends have Jettas. The quality and attention to detail that we have always loved have very easily warranted the higher price-point than other "competitors" but this does not live up to what we've come to associate with the VW on the front. We really like the exterior redesign and we like that the car has been made larger so that it is more comfortable for 4 people or a tall person but the interior redesign is a disaster. The new exterior is more aggressive and less feminine and we really like that but the quality of the interior materials in the new VWs is cheap and sub-par. The plastic on the dash and doors is thin, hollow sounding, and hard. The trunk no longer uses the hydraulic system that made for a smooth and firm closure. Now, it feels flimsy and slams, half of the time not even making a good enough connection to lock. Once, I closed the trunk and proceeded to drive down the street only to have it open widely as I went over a bump in the street. Is it cheaper? Yes. Do I like the new outside appearance? Yes. Would I buy another one or recommend it to a friend? Not a chance."

"I drive nearly 150 miles everyday and there isn't a better vehicle around. It is not just the fuel economy. When I am exclusively on the highway I get well over the published 42 MPG; it's more like 45 MPG easy. This car is a blast to drive. The turbo diesel is the way to go. In my opinion, this is nearly a sports car. Great power and handling make it easy to drive. I have had no issues mechanically and would recommend this car to anyone!"

"I bought the car new and it broke down for the first time with less than 600 miles on it on the middle of a highway. I had to wait 4 hours for the VW arranged tow truck. With about 8K miles and only 8 month of owning the brand new car the catalytic converter dash ligth came on a couple weeks after the first service. Again VW will not provide a replacement car and wants me to bring the car in. Opinion: Very disappointed with VW service and poor quality"

"Overall a fairly decent car. Only problems so far seem to be related to poor dealer service. Wind noise around door seals has been biggest complaint so far. Fuel mileage runs between 38 and 42"
