"This is by far my favorite car and my favorite VW I've owned. This is my 5th one I've owned. It is quick, reliable, comfy, stylish and all of the above. We bought this car 10 months ago and have driven 9,000 miles in road trips alone. It is so nice to drive long distances and the navigation is on point. The Fender sound system is the best I've heard, ever. I've test driven dozen of cars lately, looking for a SUV for my family and I always test the sound and it never compares! I would highly recommend this car without a doubt!"

"This Jetta looks nice, runs very well, has terrific fuel economy and is a very good value, as it was purchased with 34,000 miles already on the odometer and is a certified vehicle by the VW dealership. That is the best way to buy reliable transportation in 2013."

"Got the 2.5 sun and sound. Love the stereo system. Very comfortable I am 6ft 6 and have no problems. I have the 5 speed and 1st gear is a tad sluggish but than kicks in nicely. Love the touchscreen and bluetooth. It really is just as nice as a BMW 3 series and even bigger."

"The only problem with this car is that it doesn't have a comfortable armrest, they want to upgrade to a Passat in order to have a comfortable place for your arm. Other than that the best car I've ever had."

"My previous car was a 1990 Lexus LS400, so take that into consideration on this review. My previous car was the best of the best. After owning it for the last 8 years and putting on 120k miles bringing the car to 300k, it was time to get something else to replace it. I didn't like any of the newer lexus or toyota models due to the styling. I wanted something that was affordable and with some style that I could give to the kids as they started driving. I was not interested in the Jetta until I saw a Jetta SEL with the silver/gold paint and the nicer 17 inch wheels. I could not believe how sharp this combination looked together. I was sold. One year later, I can say that I am happy with the purchase. I am at 12k miles and have had no issues. My main complaint is the sound of the 2.5 engine. My favorite items are the bluetooth capability and the ipod/iphone port in the glovebox."

"I bought this car new in July 2012. I've never owned a car that resonanted with the different speeds or forcing frequencies, from the speed of the engine. Plastic rattles, no leg room for the driver on the gas pedal side, rattle above the driver door. Storage compartment is difficult to reach while driving. Fuel economy is good, and I like shifting gears, car is fun to drive, but for the dollars, I'm looking at trading it in for something already. If VW really want's to have 100% satisfaction with it's customers they better get these ratttles fixed or more negitive writing."

"I bought this car 6 nonths ago, and I hate it. it has no power, manual lights, bad gas mileage, hardly any features, that my trade in had. I was lied to by the dealer, Open Road, Staten Island, NY. I am trying to get rid of this car right now, any takers, only 1500 miles. Just trying to break even at least. Before you buy this car, look around at others and dont be conned by the dealer"

"I bought a 2012 TDI Wagon new this year I have alrady put 36000 miles on the vehicle. I love the sytle and layout of the car. My biggest complaints with the car is the reliabiliy. After owning my car for 3 months the transmission began to shift oddly, I took the car in and did not get it back for 3 weeks. They told me I had a problem with the part that connects the motor to the transimission. Little things like lights and electric parts have broken ex. the visor. The hands free phone system is terrible. I am so sick of people telling me they cant understand me. I finally gave up on it. I have taken it to VW 3 times for the issue and they say its normal. I dont know if I could honestly recomend this car? I love and dislike it at the same time."

"I bought my 2012 VW GLI 2.0T about four months ago brand new and I absolutely love it. I'm a young guy and I was looking for something in between a sports car and a fuel efficient family car as I am married with a kid on the way. So i looked for about two months and I found out about the VW GLI, i went and test drove it and immediately fell in love with it!!! It has plenty of get up and go when you want it and i get about 35mpg going 70mph on the highway, which is actually better than it is rated for. The interior is all black with red stitching, a six spd. manual tranny, and the touch screen and Bluetooth is great. I love my car and i HIGHLY recommend it. P.S. Especially if you like sleepers..."
