"This is my first new car, but not my first VW, and I have yet to be disappointed. I previously owned an 87 Rabbit Conv. She's great on gas, is roomy enough for passengers despite the small size, has nice pick up, and handles very well. I very much recommend this lil bunny!"

"Hard to believe a car built in Germany with so many features for the $$$. No problems thus far on our 2007 4 dr 20,0000mi w/ ESP reasonable insurance rate. $400 optional 16 in wheeels, small price to pay for REAL wheels. Heated seats are included on our model, tilt/telescope wheel/ heated mirrors/CD changer (HD Radio) lots of interior space. 5 cyl sounded coarse at first, but now when I hear the whine of a Porsche go by, reminds me of my Rabbit(or does rabbit remind of Porsche, if only in sound)... Buy one before VW changes their mind about loosing money on each sold. This is the US version of the Golf V. The best thing is not seeing another one every single day!!!"

"Just love my new Rabbit. As others have stated not as great on fuel as I would like but overall car makes up for that. Very spunky and lots of fun to drive. The heated seats are great and heat up a lot faster than the regular heat. Has a great stereo system too. Had a civic before this and really like the rabbit better already."

"This is our second Golf (had 2003 Golf IV before) and it by far exceeded our expectations. It had many features found on much more expensive cars, handles very well, has a really nice interior and is very easy to park in our city with perpetual parking or lack thereof story. We got it when we had a baby and use it as our family station wagon. It's pretty big (considering its a compact), fits the biggest Britax child car seat (love the LATCH system) a stroller and everything else. We move furniture, take road trips, go camping, haul this and that, it fits it all! Some minor problem are: rear brake light went out after 9 months of purchase and it came what appears to be a defective stereo system - base goes to max all of a sudden for several seconds now and then."

"2007 VW Rabbit, 4 door A Genuine Inport that Delivers, at an entry price that's hard to beat. This car has really surpassed my expectations. Volkswagen Engineers somehow managed to pack all the features anyone could want in a car that handles everything the road throws it's way. It's a true driver's car with fit and finish that rivals cars in a much higher class. The addition of the rear suspension along with electronic stability control, electromagnetic steering assist, tiptronic shifter and antilock brake systems that work together seamlessly to give the driver just the right balance of road feel and a ride that bests everything in it's class. The epa estimates are lower than what my actual mileage has been, 25 city 32 highway, if there's anything Volkswagen could do better, someone tell me what it is. Save the bunny for the last test drive and you'll quickly see why."

"Thi car is really good. I own it for 4 months already and all i can say is that its very reliable. The one thing i dont like though is that the price should be 1-2 thousand down. I think dealers are getting more greedy now. Also i wish it could kinda get awway from the jetta feel a little."

"The VW Rabbit is my first car and all i can say is that its the fastest and most affordable car on the market. I test drove so many cars and this one feels like you are in a rocket! you wolnt notice ur speed untill about 70 mph. GREAT GASS MILAGE!!! just dont use A/C and ull be fine! the sport shift feature is a really quick and responsive shift which will shift gears in miliseconds to provide you with the power u ask for when u push the pedal. A few mods and it can beat a gti by a landslide."

""I'm in Love with My Car." Queen took the words right out of my mouth. This car rocks! I can pull BMW-esque turns in this car, and peel out from a stop with the smooth inline FIVE and 6-spd auto! And, I know one of you is reading these just to know about real-world fuel economy, so here's how the EPA should have put it: 26 city, 33 highway. The standard features are so plentiful, the Golf makes a joke out of any Honda or Toyota. I call mine (when I'm not using his name) a Golf, because the sticker printed in my owner's manual says, "2007 Volkswagen Golf." Who knows why? The attention to detail in design is simply breathtaking: from the sound-deadening door-sill inserts, to the windshield contour and the things that keep rain water moving up instead of around. LUV VEE DUB. BUY A VW "RABBIT"!!!"

"I've owned several VW's in the past and this is by far the best I've ever driven. I have the four door german built with six speed tiptronic in United gray. This car is solid, responsive and built with attention to detail and quality materials. I test drove six other brands and came down to two cars, the Mazda 3 and VW Rabbit. The Rabbit simply outdid all the rest in every criteria. The engine and suspension give the right amount of road feel and plenty of low end torque. Even with variable assist power steering, the response and roadfeel german engineered cars are known for shines through. Save this one for the last on your list and I'm sure you'll see for yourself why the Rabbit is a Winner!"

"first off, it's a 5 cylinder, not 4, and stalling the car is a DRIVER PROBLEM, not the fault of the car. I just bought the car, '07 2dr base, stick, a few days back and absolutely love it. great HP, even better torque so it has plenty of power to get goin, and the stick mixed with the traction control is awesome!. hugging seats, tons of interior space and overall a quality piece. lots of features for being the base model and great safety specs. The 10 speaker stereo also helps to make it a great driver. Definately put this at the top of your list of cars to check out if you are in the market. again, 07 2dr base in united gray, $17,200 USD with tax and what not. sweet."
